Not sure why this show doesn't perform as well as Mogul Money did, I find it considerably more entertaining and I find theres more room for peoples personality to really come out with longer more in depth segments compared to a rapid fire game show. Really hope the metrics don't lead to Ludwig abandoning the show.
the videos were not getting views as a livestream, then having the edit be released 1-2 weeks later. most people would rather just watch the livestream. its a smart/good decision to do it like this for metrics

anything with kids in it makes me hard cringe personally and I think the thumbnails suck. there’s no differentiation between this and other videos on his page and they’re not numbered so it’s easy to lose them imo
I think its because the format of MM was a lot more accessible and thus had an easier time marketing. I had never even heard of the show this is based on prior to watching this.
@@ilikeaple CZcams has fully rolled out AB testing of thumbnails now, so while I agree the thumbnail sucks and I didn't even realise it was Unpaid Intern, I guess they have the data to back up it gets more clicks?

Jordan is just a funny human because he is genuine. He's just playing the part of himself. That also goes for slime. That's why they got along so well.
@@cudomoney well by British humor I would characterize it as quick and quippy, where as American comedy tends to be more free-form/build up to a punch line. Jordan definitely has that quick British wittieness on lock

it's still so crazy to me that the vods got more views than the youtube video itself because little boys couldn't wait and genuinely wanted to watch unpaid intern (it was me I was little boys).
I have a playlist of the 4 livestreams , episode 4 was the best. I even use them as background audio when working, the fast pace ones makes me stressful as fuck. its like 1 hour Rap video of robotic human that don't breath or pause and just talks fast. the livestream version are superior and more "replayable" to me.

God this is by far the funniest ep. I think the combo of the yard boys and sad boyz was absolutely golden. Andrew is also incredibly funny for a 10 year old

Biggest gripes for me are the fast paced editing for the banter sections and NO EPISODE NUMBERS. I promise these episodes would do so much better if they only added like “Ep. 5” in the middle of the title. I thought it was a highlight reel at first and people underestimate how much playlists with numerical episodes affect people’s desire to watch a series.

You say that, but it might actually be the opposite. I've seen a lot of let's players on CZcams stop putting episode numbers on their videos cause it negatively affects views.
@@alphaamigo9688yeah and that is on actually connected series where order matters and they are still not numbering. If you watch this episode then the first then the third, etc. It doesn't really effect anything
@@charpool169 but how does somebody who has not watched know that the order doesn't matter? I think it is still important for that reason.
They probably wouldn't be better numbered for new viewers because it implies you have to watch the previous episodes to understand the one you'd be about to watch, making it feel more like a chore before even starting. Gotta think big picture

What they did to Aiden was truly a masterclass in comedic humility. Almost feel bad for him.... almost.
Unpaid Intern is possibly my favorite show to come from Ludwig and I still think this episode is very good! However, I feel like the editing in the sections with all of the interns is wayyy to much for a show like this. I want to be clear: I do not mind that it is not live. Premieres basically serve the same purpose. I can definitely see the benefit of it not being live (editing out bank account passwords, for example) but it is way more edited than I think is best for the show. I know my opinion probably doesn't mean much, but I really like this product and want to see it continue to be enjoyable. As it is right now, the amount of cuts in the "live" sections actually stresses me out. If there was a bit less editing, I think it would be great. It's still a great episode, and I am looking forward to even more creativity in the jobs. Keep it up!!!

100% agree. Was really looking forward to this episode and its still good, but I wished it was just the like the live with minor edits as you mentioned (account number/maybe some foreshadowing etc.) minus the "back in 5 minutes" break. Having it cut down this much did nothing for the video imo.
I very much disagree, I only watched the "unedited" version of the show just because it took a bit for the edited one to be made, to each their own.
@Ffancrzy I understand that and do respect it. I'm sure it's more time efficient or whatever as well. That's why I like that edited versions exist, because everyone can be happy with the product at the end of the day. Like this, however, only the people who prefer it edited get what they want. Great for them, for sure! And I'll certainly keep watching, just a shame for me and the ones who feel similarly.

37:28 In ping pong if the ball goes clearly over the table, it does not matter that it hit his hand, it's still his point as it was clearly over. Now if he would've hit it when the ball was still on the table, the opponent gets the point. Also I hope they paid for the kids racket, those cost can 100-400 bucks.

Okay watch this be the best performing unpaid intern video in recent times. I actually saw the thumbnail and title and registered that it's happening, this is big.

It was a great EP, some audio issues in the first third or so, but cleared up after and really great throughout. Only thing to add: could have used more explicit introductions for the viewers who didn't already know the contestants.
it definitely will be, but only because it was a premiere/video release instead of a livestream. it was still a phenomenal ep that had me belly laughing tho so i wont complain

I feel the new heavily edited format does not synergize well with this show. The last episode was amazing even without heavy edits and zoom-ins, because it had a focus on dialougue, personalities, and essentially, just that feeling of it being live. With this new format, it somehow just feels more artificial, and I don't understand why constant camera cuts, edited visuals, and zoom-ins are necessary for emphasis. It sort of just takes away humor from all thr contestants and places it in the hands of the editor
