The Question is not what do we want to see, it's what do you want to put out. I'm tuning in because I enjoy you and because we have similar interests. So, do what you're passionate about, that's how a Reel Community is made 😉
1:28 Yes, a nice revamp of the 1973-80 logo which was introduced in Pertwee's final season and featured for the majority of the Tom Baker years. Happy New Year and hello again as I don't comment often these days.
I’m so excited for the 60th anniversary specials! Your reaction was fantastic! I literally can’t wait for November! 😆🙌🏻

Add me to the list of people who are nervous about Donna coming back. I hope they handle it right, she had a GREAT send-off the first time!
Hey I just had a thought about how "Doctor Who" works. Now, we've seen before that the Doctor's altering the past sort of gets rolled into the future without a whole lot of fuss, right? Like how there are paintings of him as Queen Victoria's consort: whatever history would have occurred "before" he met her, was tweaked with the two of them being an item. So it's just a single timeline that shifts a little as needed, not multiple timelines.
One thing that doesn't happen, though, is the Doctor travels around time specifically to change a certain thing. No, what almost always happens is, the Doctor's just bumbling along haphazardly when there's some wrong to be righted. But I submit that's almost necessary to how the Doctor operates: if any of the Doctors eliminated the conditions that incited them to travel back in the first place, they'd never have any reason to go back. And that'd introduce a contradiction that can't be resolved in a single-timeline model. It might be possible to circumvent that by the Doctor leaving a note that says "hey go to suchandsuch place and time, and be sure to bring a sonic screwdriver", but we don't see that (except with River Song once or twice).
I figure that's how fixed points in time work, in general: if changing a thing would invalidate some time travel event that's "already" happened, then it can't be done.
I wonder if the cute gremlin thing will turn out to be a nasty, nasty trickster like kyubey from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Happy New Year!
How many of the dr who series are Thar reel misfits
You haven't been on often. Hope you are doing great 🍻
Love that diamond logo that was always one of my favourite logos i'm glad that's back i very much look forward to the special my only fear is undoing Donna's ending because RTD seems to never want to leave things unresolved i didn't like Roses ending being undone and i'm personally not a fan of the idea that Tennant is playing two incarnations as great as Tennant was as The Doctor but he's had his time and i very much look forward to the Ncuti Gatwa era.
Would you have preferred they just do nothing for two years until Ncuti gets all his episodes filmed?
(which would mean doing nothing for the 60th anniversary)
I say, do movie reactions to movies that are not even necessarily strictly in your wheelhouse. One I'd like to see is "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", mostly for your take on the craftsmanship of the movie. I look at some of their tricks and I say "oooh me think is clever", but I am a mook as far as these things go.

Chibnall is gone. You will be able to Enjoy Doctor Who again.
😒
I thought Chibnall's Doctor Who was ok it was entertaining enough it was just bad luck.
@@joshuaverran9443 His first season as the show runner was terrible. There were so many complaints the he listened and the
second was much better. However...When New Who started they changed parts of the Real Doctor Who History which took years to create in Classic Who. But, they would only take it so far. Chibnall on the other hand destroyed the entire History. The Doctor wasn't from Gallifrey, the Planet wasn't called Gallifrey until they changed the name etc. etc. I wrote to the BBC as soon as we heard Moffat was leaving and Begged them not to make Chibnall the Show Runner. They didn't listen and eventually sacked him.
@@Jamienomore I agree with you on the changing history part and Gallifrey being destroyed again and making The Doctor a different species that was Chibnall's one and only biggest mistake that was a step too far but he did good with the Daleks, The Master, The Sontarans, The Cybermen and The Weeping Angels he made them as they should be a dangerous deadly threat and keeps his characters consistently dead which Moffat couldn't deliver.
@@joshuaverran9443 No. I am sorry to say that wasn't the only change he made. It was made clear in Classic Who that Male Time Lords always Regenerated into Male and Female Time Lords always Regenerated into Female. Chibnall changed that. It was made clear that the TARDIS was the most Advanced Craft in the Whole Universe. Chibnall made it so anyone could enter the TARDIS so it was nothing special. Chibnall made the Time Lords so stupid that the Master could kill them all. There are lots of other things but you get the message. Give me Moffat over Chibnall any day.
