- Climbed the Eiffel Tower (not impressed), visited Sainte-Chapelle (very impressed), ate some Pierre Herme macarons (much better than Laduree), bought house stuff (this just opened the floodgates of homeware shopping), and chatted about nonsense as per usual.

just an fyi but pictures or videos of the eiffel tower at night are illegal since the lights were only installed in 1985 and france does not have a freedom of panorama so technically you could get sued or something but no action against it has ever been taken so yeah.
