The necklace is nice the chain sort of distracts the onlooker away from the diamond.I was told that the Tiffany version of this the way they made the chain is that when you look at the wearer you only notice the diamond sort of floating bec you wont notice the chain

Hi! Love your van cleef necklace! I’m very curious as how you’re liking the Cartier necklace today? Does the diamond sparkle?I have the .17 dbty rose gold and debating whether to return it and buy the Cartier one. I just feel like the Tiffany one is not sparkling at all and the chain seems very thin.
The one thing I’m holding back on is the size of the diamond. I will downsize to .09 with the Cartier from .17.

I remember the trend!I got a necklace from Tiffany with a purple/blue stone but I didn't like it because I was eternally adjusting it around my neck because the stone wouldn't stay in place. I sold it. I really like the idea though. Now I wear two necklaces: one with a round pendant with a V on it (my initial) and one with just a round pendant in rose gold. I like them because they catch the light in a special way :)

Personally, I prefer the Cartier variant over Tiffany's. I gave my mom one a few Christmases ago rendered in white gold and blue sapphire :)

How is the Cartier necklace holding up? Are you able to take shower with this? Or you have to remove it so it won’t get damage?
I want to buy this necklace and after doing my research I'd rather Cartier. Packaging is so much better, Tiffany blue is absolutely stunning and the bow is gorgeous too but I think Cartier's looks more luxurious, I would feel like a princess with that kind of box. The chain looks nicer from what I can see, it looks like it reflects a lot of light. Lastly I like how the pendant doesn't have 'Micky mouse' ears like the tiff ones does. My issue is which diamond size to get! I always want bigger but in Australia it is over 1000$ more for .09 extra carat 😭

I love the necklace! Have worn it everyday since getting it (nearly a year) and every day I just love it more. The quality is incredible and the design is very well executed. The diamond doesn't flip around, nor does it twist on your neck. I think it's absolutely worth it and can't recommend it highly enough :)

So stunning! Happy Anniversary! I know it's a new piece for you right now, but do you prefer it to the Van Cleef necklace? I have the Tiffany and Co. version in silver and sadly, it is already starting to tarnish. So sad:( When I do invest in my gold piece, it will be either the Cartier or Van Cleef, so any opinions will be greatly appreciated:)

Xx I'm sorry to hear about your Tiffany necklace, that's why I stopped buying from them, the quality isn't what it used to be 😔 Both Cartier and Van Cleef have excellent quality and they are very similar - down to the chain style and colours of the gold. It comes down to which piece of jewellery you want, I can't imagine you'd be disappointed with either brand :) I'll do a comparison of both after I've had this one for a few months :)

I love the CDcartier better. The C setting on the pendant and the diamond are gorg. Pricy but worth the money in my opinion. Its very unique.If you happen to check out in their store, let me know what you think..
