First of all, I want to give a MASSIVE shout-out to Incense Idol Subs for the work the put into subbing these episodes. You can find more about them here: incenseidol.blogspot.com/2020... Secondly, a huge shout-out to disgustiphage on tumblr for giving me the raw files for episode 2!! Some information about the episodes: These were only available on the original home media releases of Gregory Horror Show Season 1. The season was split up into three separate DVDs/VHS that one could purchase, and these came as a bonus. There are ONLY three shorts. Before now, these episodes haven't resurfaced anywhere, save for Episode 2. In Gallery Tour, Gregory goes over portraits of each character from Season 1, and describes a little about them. Characters from newer seasons, such as Cactus Girl, are unfortunately not included. The English Dub did not translate these episodes, to my knowledge. If they did, then they're considered lost as well. Because we only have Japanese audio, I took the pleasure of commissioning Incense Idol Subs, as mentioned previously. They did a WONDERFUL job, and I'm incredibly happy with the results. Thank you all, and I hope you enjoy these previously lost bits of Gregory Horror Show history!
Despite being fanservice, it has the feeling of a sequel right after he tried to escape with Neko taunting him before waking up once more trapped at the hotel/inn. It’s like everyone was either cursed by him out of madness due to being unable to leave while having to deal with them. Or they somehow left the world and their spirits in the paintings.
it's so wild hearing Gregory's original voice. I'm so used to his English VA, like that voice is pretty much glued to my minds image of him. Both actors fit him and the giggle is perfect, so even if they sound supper different they're bit made for the character.

I first watched this show years ago thinking that this Gallery was some mythical Japan-only thing I would never get to see, now, right after my latest rewatch, I look it up to find this. No problem!! To address your question: I'm personally unsure about the ending myself. I believe he was able to escape, and the rat at the end was Gregory. However, it's all up for interpretation.
