Fun watching Bedard & Foligno. Bedard's +/- is horrendous, but watching his offensive skills is a treat. Heard the Hawks have two first round draft picks this year and next year. Mrazek is a good goalie surrounded by inept defense; hope they keep Mrazek. SO many areas the Hawks need help in; guess it doesn't matter which to fix first.

I mean look who he plays with, his team mates are all turn-over machines. He made a few defensive mistakes as well but he is a rookie so he's not going to be perfect in all areas. We seen a lot of talent and even some good defensive plays where he stepped up as well. He constantly grows at every part of his game and it's way too early to judge his plus minus.
plus/minus I think is an overall line/team stat. I havent watched to many hawks games (MN resident - so wild game viewer but hockey fan overall) Is Bedard's defense ability really bad and sticks out or not really. @@gaberzucek8397
That'll happen when you have the worst defensive core in the entire NHL, and Soderblom who is one of the worst current goalies in the NHL. +/- is a useless stat that almost always means nothing, it's more about how good your line mates are than it is how good you are. You can be the best defenseman in the NHL, but play on a shit line and still have a -35 season +/-. It's literally just how much goals are you on the ice for and again, and it would be shocking if it was anything higher than a -10 with how awful the hawks are. They have the 2nd worst goal diff in the NHL for a reason lmao...
They are not the worst.. I think sharks are worse lmao
