Cade absolutely has it ALL. This video confirms the bright light that radiates in him. May God continue to shine through him and Gabby and bless them both.
God bless his parents. A job well done. One special young man. I was so touched by his words in his wedding video. Don't let the evil ways of the world steal your joy. God is BIGGER than our fears and the evil that comes against us. God is using your life in mighty ways. Looking forward to a gospel album from you in the future. May your life and career be a light to the lost and broken that there is hope in JESUS.

I thank God that he gives the glory to Christ, I'm a Christian Texan too, and he's about as old as my youngest son. Proud of you Cade! God first, then everything else because I'm sure you already know that the path is narrow and the gate is straight to enter heaven, and the only way to the Father is through the Son. As long as you can stay on that path because you only spend a short time on this world, but where do you want to spend eternity. It's very hard to live in the world today and not be of the world. May God bless the path for you. I have a feeling that you are going to go far with your music and temptation will be everywhere. Pray often, repent daily, I'm not famous but I still have to do this because it is hard when you live in the world today and enjoy your life, I'm sure American Idol doesn't want to advertise Christian talent, because it is of the World.

I'm so glad I stumbled on this! You can see he's got Jesus in his heart from his eyes to his mannerisms. It's part of what makes him so special. His talent without question is a gift from God! He seems so strong and sure of himself, it's easy to forget how many negatives he's navigating on this journey. But it sounds like the people who know him best and love him most have really got his back and are strongly present to help keep him grounded. Can't wait to see where he goes from here!

You can / could see the annoyance in his eyes. Of the outlandish spectacle from the judges. The best part was to see that he not only remained grounded. But he stood taller and true to himself and his faith. In so doing he met his future wife and together they have been blessed with success and happiness. A true testimony to their faith and the love they have for one another. They may not have won the contest. But they have won together and through faith and their love. They have won.

After finding and watching this video it seems Gabby Barrett knew when she wrote her song “The good one” little Gabby saw right through Cade, saw his heart and decided to write that song about Cade, BUT FOLKS, honestly Cade & Gabby came from the best of the best of family’s, GOD bless’em. People do for your kids, help them, guide them, take them to church get close to GOD, GOD is the way. Pittsburgh, Pa. & Shelbyville, Tx & American Idol, who woulda thunk it. GOD Bless Cade & Gabby.

Cade, I was a backslidden christian when I was the lead singer in a couple of rock bands. Nothing famous, but I lost my soul for awhile. I came back to the Lord a few years later. It took me a little while to recover from all of the stupid things that I gave myself over to. I pray that you keep right with Jesus. Nothing is better than a relationship with the one who came to earth to redeem us! There is nothing that the world has to offer that is better than Jesus. Congratulations, Now go rock for Jesus!!!!

I watched an interview where the host called you like a "rock god" and I could kind of see you cringe. I knew why that bothered you and it bothers me too. I just don’t understand how you say he’s rooted. I don’t think anyone who is a devoted Christian should ever sing Black Magic Woman, EVER! I mean I get it, he’s young and has a great talent, but just the same, he can sing and play awesome Christian music. I just think the message that is being sent out is all wrong.
