Not true. MIT spun off Draper Labs decades ago. Medical research, eg: the Whitehead Institute, and other non-military research is a major part of MIT's research portfolio.

You attend a university or place of higher learning to get an education in a specific area. You don't have a right to tell the school how to run themselves. If you're that committed to this cause, withdraw from the school and transfer to a school that meets your silly criteria.

And you are free to protest, but your protest should not violate civil code or university policy.
