Sort off. God gave Adam the concept of independent thought. Angels accept Gods thought and Adam initially only accepted what he was shown to him. Eve gave Adam a better awareness and the concept of accepting thought from God and thinking about it, led to Eve taking Gods thought for her own purpose. Why learn about God when you can take his thought and energy and be like him.
God gives his truth to Adam through Eve. Adam is the collective thought of mankind. This collective thought takes the information and assimilates it. The Earth then grows upwards in awareness. God then gives more awareness and the Earth becomes more intelligent. In the fall, the ability to free think gives the creative part of our mind the ability to create a world that develops away from God rather than too him. The thought that desires complete independence from anything else is selfish. Selfish in the bible is the word sin. Self thought. The thought falls away from God and can go very low and deep. The bible describes this as the sea. Hence the pigs throwing themselves into the sea and Jesus walking on the sea. He is saying that he walks above human thought. The pigs were used by the dead thought/spirit, as a vehicle to move themselves back to the lower levels of human thought. Moses took man through the sea to safety on the other side.
you are mistaken...God created the angel Lucifer, which means Light Bringer. Lucifer's pride led to his thought he was an equal to God & became jealous of God's admiration for His creation (Humans). Lucifer then convinced a third of all angels into following him, God cast him & his followers out of Heaven. Satan became of Lucifer's ambition to become like God. Satan's job is to deceive God's creation and stray away from Him. Satan is NO servant of God, but an enemy for he brought sin unto God's creation

As a girl I first saw Satan twice in dreams. In real life his demons would try to frighten me. My Mom advised me not to challenge Satan on my own. As an adult I saw Satan once more this time in a vision. He was plotting just like he was in the dreams. He looked the same. He's a smooth talker.
