I use the bucket and Styrofoam ball for my camera...the bonus to bucket over panners is when the crazy fish (we all get them) gets tangled in camera cord it's easy to handle without your panner being dragged down the hole or because they so cheaply made they bust apart...and the pail is handy to carry camera...also under $5 for a piece of plastic is a lot easier to choke down than $60-$100+ for a brittle piece of junk...just my 2 cents

Great video. I use an AquaVU remote panner but I stripped the gears early in it's life, so its been a manual for a few years lol. I like your idea with the bucket/Ball and I may give that a go.
