- In this episode, Matthew Hofmann demonstrates the second stage of the polishing process. During this stage, Nuvite Nushine F9 polish compound is used with a variable speed rotary polisher to remove heavy corrosion and oxidation from the surface of the vintage Airstream travel trailer. Note, it is imperative to check that the clear-coat has been removed prior to proceeding with this step. Please watch the previous episode on removing clear-coat. Hey Matt, Best video series I have seen on how to polish. Thank you!
Mine has a lot of white pitting marks all over the back and front. I cannot get them off with the f9. Would it have to do with the harbor freight wool pad I'm using?
Look like previous owner scorched the aluminum.
its a 1960 Trailer...So no varnish a million times easier nothing about removing varnish before polishing
Umm fine, put my method against yours any day, mine is a one step and seals the finish. I have been polishing since before Matt was born, I invented several polishes and I'm happy you are happy with the ancient polishing method but perhaps just perhaps there is a better way that gets much better results? Stay tuned, Monsterpolish will be posting training vids and showing you products that blow away Nuvite
Still staying tuned 7 months later.

Do not polish using this method unless you are happy with a screwed up finish. This guy does not know anything about polishing aircraft aluminum and he should have disclaimers because he is actually destroying the hardened surface with this method. They will never show you the real finish in the sun or with finish lighting or you will see the massive swirls this method leaves.
you are a f head this is the only and best way to polish matt is a expert who the f are you i make 70,000 a year from this video
and watch the rest of series the final removes all swirls with a dual orbit thanx matt youve changed my life..
Kreg Norris lol you seem immature.. by the way it’s not the only way to do it. That’s just naive
I agree with Shawn
