Last week was both Teacher and Nurses’ Appreciation Week. These everyday heroes are honored with deals from a large number of brands and ‘thank you’ gifts from employers. But do these appreciation weeks really rally support for these professions, or are they just gaslighting them - rather than paying them what they’re worth?

Yes, It is gaslighting.
I 100% agree that we are not given what we are worth.
We know going in the pay isn't great, but........ every year they add more and more onto us and never increase our pay.
