If u want a kind of explanation n the back story, kaeya (blu hair) and diluc (red hair) were once sworn brothers and a day after their father (diluc's biological dad) died, kaeya told diluc his secret about being a khaenri'ahn spy and diluc got really upset and tried to kill kaeya resulting in kaeya getting his vision.
