Seems like it's because they take different path, Rupert just keeping it lowkey and focuses on his family while Dan is still being a mega star somewhat
They still talk but they have different things in life so they probably don't talk often
Daniel said in a recent interview that he still talks to Emma and Rupert and that they'll always have this special bond because they grew up together, they just don't see each other as much as people would like because of their busy schedules.

I am 72 years old. I never watched or read anything about Harry Potter until this past March when the pandemic hit. Now I love them so much I have watched all 8 movies, 14 times. And I read all the books, 4 times. A few times a week I go back to my Harry Potter movies! And if I see something or think about something as far as details, I pick up my phone and turn to my books and reread that section.
It’s amazing what the series can do! It feels like you are going into a whole new world- it’s amazing- I’m currently rewatching all the movies and I have read all the books! 😁

I really wanted to know only one thing that how was the relationship between Dan and Alan..
And it's really nice thing to know that Alan was completely opposite of Severus Snape in real life..he was funny, kind, nice man..wow..really he was such a really talented actor even the kids were scared of him onscreen..but then after growing up they realized how nice and funny he was..really sweet..

Man, Alan Rickman really is a Legend. Sure Snape is one one of the most well-writtened characters of all time, but without Alan's pure acting skills and his unique way of presenting a character, Snape's death for example wouldnt have such a big effect on the audience, and people wouldnt care so much for him. He really made this role so big and created such a true and believable character its just amazing. RIP ALAN

I never watched the HP movies or read the books 📚 until the world was shut down earlier this year. Since then I’ve watched the movies over and over. Now I’m listening to the first book in audio and I have fallen head over heels in love with the entire HP story!

At first I hated the idea of Ron and Hermoine together, I thought she was better suited to Harry. But the actors played it so well, I was okay with it in the end. But it really made me happy when I realized that with Ron marrying Hermoine, and Harry marrying Ginny, they’re all family now and Hermoine and Harry are Weasleys. 😉
This series will always have a special place in my heart. The books were the first thing my son let me read to him. For whatever reason he didn't want me reading out of a book but when these came out another mom suggested it. He was around 6 or so and the first three were out. The first movie kicked off a family movie night that went on a few years until he hit his teens. I kept watching even after he lost interest.
