    You can also drag a game (rom) into the LB window, choose the platform and scraped system, and ADD the emulator via that interface as you are importing. Two ways to accomplish the same thing

    Came across this video today and it helped me with importing and adding Ootake (a PC-Engine/TurboGrafx-16 emulator) to LB. Gave me only some very minor issues with Dependency Files over location because I had them in a different folder, but no issues with usage so far. LB will be better for recording video (hopefully with built-in OBS but my second choice, Gecata 6, works very well too)

    Great video! Its easy who knows to work.. 😅
    A headache for a newbie... ironically, I started (and from what I saw) the hardest setup: Commodore Amiga 500... The problem is the Command line doesn't appear.. as if not recognize...
    And also, i have a problem of Yabause emulator (Saturn).. When i put on full screen the sound disappears... 🤷‍♂️🙄

    Would you use this same method to install CXBX emulator into launchbox to run Xbox? Been struggling to figure out how to get that and PS2 running

      @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC  Před 2 lety

      Both CXBX-Reloaded and PCSX2 are available now from the dropdown. However, yes, you can add any emulators into LaunchBox, as long as it supports command line.

    How can you do this but in android? I need to set up Launchbox for using Mupen64+ FZ instead of AE

    • @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC
      @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC  Před 2 lety

      I believe Mupen64+ FZ was added recently as an option, however, custom emulators do work in LaunchBox for Android, it's just much more cumbersome to add due to the way the Android OS works.

    Does anyone know what zmachine shows up as in launch box?

    • @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC
      @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC  Před 2 lety

      LaunchBox is emulator agnostic, in the sense that you can add any emulator you want and configure it accordingly. The emulator dropdown list is just a list of common emulators, which when selected will populate common settings.

    Can you run Bix Box off the cloud?? If you can does it run pretty well?

    • @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC
      @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC  Před 3 lety +3

      I've only ever heard of people running LaunchBox from a NAS or a server, and while it runs, you will definitely notice performance degredation as it tries to keep up loading your gigs of videos and images.

      @@holywraith504 I have a 13.6 TB collection installed on my Synology DS1621+ NAS, and stuff loads a little bit slower than say off of an USB 3 external hard drive, but once things get going there's no speed difference.. it's awesome.

    • @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC
      @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC  Před 2 lety +1

      This is already possible, in as much as Android allows. You can add custom emulators within the app for any supported platform, but it requires some very specific information about the app you want to use that may not be readily available to a normal user.

      @@UnbrokenSoftwareLLC thanks, I know it's ther but don't have any intruction at all. The only emulator I wish it's implemented is Yaba Sanshiro 2 Pro.

    • @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC
      @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC  Před 2 lety

      I'd recomend heading to our community forums where you can suggest adding the emulator directly into LaunchBox for Android, or contacting the author of Taba Sanshiro 2 Pro, they would have the necessary info required to add it as a custom emulator.
