I’m a sucker for ballads. This one really brings out emotions in me. They do have other ballads, but this one nailed the sound from my youth. Mayu’s vocal abilities shine like the Heavens. Saki and Hazukia let their guitar playing add to the emotions. Of course Haraguchi and Tamu are the perfect foundation. Love it. ❤️🌸
This is the opening soundtrack for a new Japanese film. Nemophila have already had a rock ballad on every EP or album they have done starting with Life and now Odyssey. It’s not really something different for them.

It’s Japan. Go figure.🤣 I like this first time and think Mayu’s voice is great in this. Anyway Merry Xmas to you from Australia. 🎄 🎅

It absolutely blows me away how reviewers total over react to this song.....Are they the first rock band ever to do a ballad ??? NO...... get over it DUDE !!!!! Tell me when Saki comes in with that first guitar fill you didn't get goose bumps !!!!! Mayu's voice was gorgeous and Tamu's touch on drums was perfect as usual. This was written for an outro for a film and I for one think the nailed it !!!
It's unfortunate your Nemophila listening history had a blindspot to them playing Ballad type songs. There is a chance you come around on this one when it seems less of a jump to be playing a power ballad.
