In this video I will show you how to make a kaleidoscope very easily at home without using mirrors.It is very easy to make and can be made just in 15 minutes.
(A kaleidoscope is an optical instrument with two or more reflecting surfaces tilted to each other in an angle, so that one or more objects on one end of the mirrors are seen as a regular symmetrical pattern when viewed from the other end, due to repeated reflection.)

I love it, the materials used are cheap and easily avaliable and also the kaleidoscope itself has no sharp edges so is not dangerous to build. A good project to do with kids and very mesmerizing to play with. Congrats

Mam, I did everything as instructed, but the plastic sheets do not seem to work as my beads aren't reflecting at all. Is there any way I can fix this problem? I used transparent book binding paper as the plastic sheets
I think you should use thicker plastic sheets because thin plastic will not reflect.

Can I make this without using can
Yes, you can make this without using a can , you can just tape the three cardboard pieces together to form a triangular type of thing and then you will not need a can.

Can i use Blue Paper instead of black and can you please advise anything other than colorful beads
The paper should be dark in color or else it will not reflect. And instead of beads you can use small bits of shiny gift wrap paper or any shiny thing.

Can we colour the black paint to the paper and stick it
I don't think that would work because black paint fades and gives a lighter color than original.

Please tell ...when i am covering it with rounded cardboard strips ...they are getting visible from the corners when i am looking from the hole ....please tell as my holidays are finished yesterday and i have less time to complete homework...
It's okay if a little bit is visible but if it is too much I think either the cardboard is too thick or you have made the triangle very small

It should be a very dark color so that it can reflect light because light colors don't reflect light that much .
Instead of beads can I use small pieces of paper or anything else u can tell
You can use shiny gift wrap and cut it into small bits.

I don't think it would work because oil pastels and wax crayons are shiny . You can try with black paint.

Yes , For the outer cylindrical part you can use a pvc pipe also.

The paper to cover the cardboard needs to be dark or else the light will not reflect. And you can you any shiny object to keep in that.

Is black chart important
Hi,
You can also color a paper to make it black, but what ever paper you keep behind the plastic should be black or very dark in color.

Will it work with aluminium foil please tell me
Aluminium foil does not reflect that much so I think it would not work, but first try to reflect something on the aluminium foil and see if it reflects then only you use it.

You can use any can which is big enough or you can also make it without the can just by sticking the 3 cardboard pieces and making a triangular type shape.
Can we use protective sheets instead of plastic sheets?
They should not be too thin or else it will not reflect, make sure they are little thick and not like polythene.

Here I have used clear transparent PVC plastic sheet.
No you cannot use plastic of white polythene.
But you can use any plastic which is clear transparent and a little bit thick.
