A quick google and some podcast episodes would have given y’all much more depth. Kroos loved the game but never wanted to be one of those guys in the bench or in a lower level team. He can’t deal with incompetence and he demands so much from himself and everyone around him. For those that know he literally stopped with the German team because of how bad the coaching and level was, and prolonged time with family and Madrid. The video of Real Madrid to Toni Kroos that will make you cry, tears dried. Danke German Sniper and what a player. Brilliant measured and calculated passes.
It is highly recommended and a MUST for Real Madrid management, board of directors, coaching staff, people working in their club who are involved on the transfer-market to permanently sell who are currently out on loan to play for another football club, do not offer a loan with buy back clause or with a number or percentage rights, recall or return players that are currently on-loan by another football club to play for Real Madrid, ageing ((28) years old and above), inconsistent (due to limited playing time, never have played and always on the bench, poor defensively, not performing well) regardless of age, injury prone, those who are not comfortable playing in different position, that MUST happen on or before July 2027. We are referring to Modric, Kroos, José Ignacio Fernández Iglesias "Nacho", José Luis Mato Sanmartín "Joselu", Vasquez, Daniel Carvajal Ramos "Dani Carvajal", Courtois, Alaba, Rudiger, Arrizabalaga, Mendy, Daniel Ceballos Fernández "Dani Ceballos" Jesús Vallejo Lázaro "Jesus Vallejo", Francisco José García Torres "Fran Garcia", Diaz, Juan Miguel Latasa Fernández "Juanmi Latasa", Reinier Jesus Carvalho "Reinier", Rafael Marín Zamora "Rafa Marin", Nicolás "Nico" Paz Martínez, & Guler.
Once they get sold these are the players should be sign based on their positions on or before July 2027.
Right Back: Jesus Fortea, Malo Gusto, Pedro Lima
Left Back: Alphonso Davies, Miguel Gutierrez
Centre Back: William Saliba, Leny Yoro, Dean Huijsen
    Main Striker: Kylian Mbappe
Lastly Real Madrid must never offer a contract to these players for a RIGHT BACK position, that are inconsistent regardless of age, poor defensively, has disadvantage of height and strength (lacks muscles), proven already that unable to stop wingers/strikers in different leagues, injury-prone, has beyond 60 million euro's transfer-market value, and ageing 27 years old and above, and turning 27 years old and above on year 2027. We are referring to Darmian, Walker, Trippier, Di Lorenzo, Cancelo, Dumfries, Calabria, White, Mazraoui, Wan-Bissaka, Alexander-Arnold, Hakimi, Tomiyasu, Royal, Dalot, Porro, James, Boey, Frimpong, Couto, Livramento, Terracciano, Bradley, Sanchez, Lewis, Fresneda and Gray.

Toni has always been clear that he wants to end his career at Madrid and at the highest level of performance he can give. So the retirement part is not shocking, the fact that he chose this year to retire and not next year comes as a shock. He has showed one of his bets forms this season and Real Madrid still wanted to keep him.

Toni Kroos is a midfield maestro one of the best number 8s we’ve ever seen. Imagine tell your kids that a guy who wasn’t the most skillful fastest or strongest player dominated football and won almost everything for club and country. He’s a serial winner and has won trophies consistently whether it’s with Real Madrid Bayern Munich or the Germany national team and his trophy cabinet many players dream of having it. He was part of a Bayern Munich team that won the treble in the 2012-13 season, he helped Germany win the World Cup in 2014 and while at Real Madrid everyone talks about Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale as players who are pivotal in them conquering European football, Kroos helped them win many champions league titles.
His style of play catches the eye. He’s not known for his dribbling or skills, he’s a deep lying playmaker who impacts the game in unparalleled ways. He’s never been a flashy player but the way he plays is just something else. He understands the basic components of football and that’s because he’s so intelligent has that ice cold composure and technique, very good on the ball and has an unlimited range of passing that many players cannot replicate. Even though it seems like he’s always playing sideways passes, at least every time he passes the ball and has possession, he always make the right decision, you can’t say that about a lot of midfielders who have better numbers than him. One of the biggest problems in modern football is people who only obsess over stats as the only thing that fans care about is goals and assists nothing else. In my opinion, we need to move beyond this whole “stat driven culture” and appreciate players who influence the game like Kroos does even if his stats weren’t always dominate. Real Madrid is going to miss him a lot simply because he’s a special player who is irreplaceable in his own way.

The thing which makes me so proud of him is that he unlike so many others managed to deliver and achieve an absolute dream career of any ordinary boy. Even though Toni Kroos has had a fantastic season and has a year or 2 left in him at the highest level, his decision to announce his retirement at the end of the season is shocking, at the end of the day, you want to end your career off on a high. He obviously wanted to retire at Real Madrid because we know that he has an agenda against certain players who go to Saudi Arabia for the money, but thats for another conversation. The perfect ending for him is winning his 6th champions league title in his last ever game for Real Madrid and win the EUROs for Germany on home soil and then possibly the Ballon Dor. When you’re someone who has won everything there is to win at the highest level for club and country (almost), you can’t really blame him for his decision to retire at the end of the season despite being 34 years old.
There’s a possibility that he ends his legendary career on a high and he deserves it because he’s a flawless and professional player never fights against anyone has class very respectable and doesn’t care about headlines PR or media hype compared to his teammates. He’s a serial winner a footballing legend and we lost another great in Kroos. It’s crazy that all of the legends we grew up watching are retiring every year leaving Europe and going to Saudi Arabia for the money and my advice for football fans is to appreciate what you have because you don’t know it until it’s gone.

I've watched so much of Kross, stationed as a pure 8, near the left back, avail himself to ease the press and he never seem to lose the ball. Although technically gifted he really did put a number of miles on his body, especially with how undroppable the 3 of them were. I've also watched Touchmeni a great deal as well as Cavaminga & they seem not to think as quickly as Kross, despite their other strenghts.

He‘s won almost every trophy, so there‘s not much to play for. He made it back to the national team and will play another Euros, so there‘s that. He’s a proud guy and doesn’t want to be relegated to the Real bench eventually, while he also frequently ridicules players leaving Europe for Saudi Arabia, so that is no option either.
Above all else, he’s a man of principle and a devoted family man. He’s well aware that there’s so much more to experience in life. And if you know Kroos you know that he‘s a huge basketball fan and a good friend of Dirk Nowitzki. Watch Dirk and you realize that he probably serves as an everyday reminder to not overdo it; Dirk can hardly bend his knees anymore and will have a hard time running around with his kids, and I‘d imagine Kroos certainly doesn’t want that for himself and his family.
