Blue diamond village which is about 20 miles southwest of Las Vegas, Nevada and was originally called Cottonwood springs and served as a stop on the old Spanish Trail for traders traveling between Santa Fe, New Mexico and California in the mid nineteenth century ( 1800,s ). The Paiute people used the area for agriculture. The area now is a residential area and Not a recreation area. Population is roughly 268 residents. The area is 7.2 square miles at an elevation of 3,708 feet. This area is a Gem in the rough off of the beaten path. Thank you for the video.
