Did this hike in 2019. Your video was just the way I remember it. Thanks for sharing........
Calico falls is awesome for swimming and chilling
I enjoy coming in from the Kraft mountain parking lot to Calico Tanks. It's not for everyone, but if you're comfortable at a more physically challenging route with class 3 and some class 4. Then hike down into where you came in and it's a beautiful, mostly slight 4 miles downhill run. A real blast, we're so lucky to have this in our backyard ❤️🤞👍😁
Great video! Amazing presentation.
Thank you!! More on the way!
Thanks for the video!
Thank you for watching!
I've never seen the Tanks dry. Was up in July and the Tanks were bone dry. Used to bring my 3 Goldens up to the Tanks and they would swim one end to the other.
Love this hike.
Cool video! Beautiful shots!
We appreciate it!
Great video and I learned a lot too!
Thank you Brett!
I'm really enjoying your videos! Love all the information. My husband and I will be visiting in October and this looks like a hike that we can do.
ayeeee! we appreciate all the love! It's such a beautiful hike, you and your husband will love it!
Thank you for this informative video. I can't tell you how many annoying videos I have watched just to get precisely what you both share in this video, much appreciate you both
Haha thank you Jessy! Just getting warmed up! Anything in specific around Las Vegas you’d like to see?
@@austinandsam I love hiking and have been to Valley of Fire and Cathedral Gorge, but my next trip is to Mount Charleston. Currently researching hikes so any tips would be appreciated :) TY
@@jessy5453 ooooh were definitely moving into Mt Charleston hiking weather! Tips for charleston 1. Research weather before hand, it can change quick up there. 2. In previous years we've hiked Mt charleston as late as April and there were spots that were impassible due to snow. All trails is a great resource to find recent reviews to get an idea of trail conditions. 3. Always bring enough water, we see people out there all the time only hiking with a single bottle of water. Hiking in elevation will require more water and water is something we don't want to be caught without. 4. Hiking sticks are very useful. 5. Know that you may not always have cell phone reception, if you have All trails subscription, you can download maps and the trails. 6. If you're hiking alone, always let someone know where you're headed. 7. Don't feed the animals, it makes them reliant on humans and less likely to survive on there own. 8. If you take friends, make sure they don't litter, even things like orange peels should be packed out with you. Haha that's more than I planned on typing but hope it helps!
Ummm that's not the peak, the peak is upto the left from the tank and there's a registry to sign. Which is always cool 😎
Ahhh we will get to check it out next time we go, thank you!
