Seminar with Sifu Emin Boztepe

🥋 We did it! 🎉 Dai Sifu Emin Boztepe visited our Wing Tsun Academy in Reutlingen, and we also had special guests: Cruiserweight World Champion Firat Arslan and the Federal Border Guard's "deployment coach" were also with us! 🙌 It was a personal honor for me to invite them all, and the weekend was simply incredible. 🌟 Thank you to everyone who participated - the impact of your impressions was truly remarkable! 💪

It does my heart good to see Emin alive and well and still teaching. I remember enjoying a seminar he put on back in the 1990’s. He was very strong, very fast, fearless and very intimidating but at the same time nice, humorous and open. I was doing a slightly different kind of wing chun at the time but Emin will always have my respect. Videos don’t always do people justice. Sometimes you have to physically be with someone to gain an accurate sense of their skill and heart. Sometimes only a true martial artist can judge another true martial artist. Emin is the real deal and a solid human being. He’s what you want in your corner when the shit goes down. In his prime I would put him up against anyone.🤘💪

@@wingtsunacademy_international Indeed. He is a true fighter. I remember he invited anyone at the seminar to choke him or submit him as hard as they could. Despite their attempts (including mine) - no one could choke him out or submit him. And he did it in a very good natured and convincing way. Emin was a savage fighter with a lot of fighting attributes. I had never met someone from Turkey at that time so his example instilled in me a respect for Turkish people! He had to earn it as a child (growing up in Germany or Austria I think?). Wonderful guy.
