The training took a little longer than expected. With the season being over now it didn't go well. Just needed more training. With more training and plenty of time next year should be awesome.

The higher you get in altitude, the later the morels are. You can get morrels in British Columbia almost all year long !

About free shaping - my dog tends to lie down, because he thinks that is the wanted behavoir for eveything. 😅 (and then he quickly gives up/get distracted - he's 10 months old). Do you have a tip for re-training this? 🙏😃

Maybe just rewarding him for sitting also? Then help him differentiate between sitting and laying down. I know this works with "Quiet/Bark" when I did this with my dog, but he would always do some crazy roll over's thinking that is what I was going to ask him to do next.
