Appaloosa Auction Horse Makes a HUGE Transformation 🤯

- Prince Charming is a beautiful Appaloosa who I purchased from an auction in May of 2022. He’s 15.2 and is 17 years old. He went from being skinny and lame to healthy and sound! I’m so proud of his progress and I’m thankful for our journey together.
For all of the non-horse people Lame is a term for a horse that is injured or limping. Not lame as in “not cool”….
I mean he dose look pretty cool
I knew that, but my brain did immediately go, "wait, why did she just call that poor horse lame?" Followed two seconds later by 😐😑🙄🤭

I need to point out that his gait has become flawless in time even with weight on. I don't know what was the root cause for his lameness, but you did a spectacular job rehabilitating him. You and the horsey deserve a round of applause because he became a fully functioning horse thanks to your efforts.
Could be (since it went away) a blocked joint in the back end of his back. Don't know how to say that in English.
My horse had that too and was declared unridable but with proper training and lots of physical Therapie everything got better. Lameness often comes from the back and will dissappear with proper training and muscles.
Still absolutely impressive what she manged to do

Im pretty sure he put him down cause it was a lot worse than she expected (it’s been a long time since I seen the video of her talking about him)
@@ALCTSB She found him passed when she went to check on him in the morning i believe
She had him euthanized due to what all the vets at Ohio State found when they did an MRI. The video is called “We Have Answers…Update On My Appaloosa” (published April 21, 2023) where she goes into more detail. 😢
That raised tail at the end shows just how happy he felt running.

Came here to say the same thing. Seeing his gait improve was one thing, but that flying tail says it all.
You not only devoted a lot of time to him, you spent a ton of money on his rehabilitation! Bless you for all you've done for this sweet and grateful guy.
He was such a a beautiful horse. I'm glad his last years were with you go he could get the care he needed before he crossed the rainbow bridge.
My first horse was a Leopard Appaloosa bought at an auction. I named him Foxy and we became so close. We would go on mega trail rides and he took such good care of me. My dogs loved him and would hang out with him in his paddock. Such a wonderful boy.
❤❤❤I had a leopard Appaloosa! She and I bonded so close that she could read my mind! Her name was Sheena!
She went blind and had to be put down! I miss her every day!

My last horse was an appaloosa mustang I adopted at 2.5 yrs. old and had to sell at 12. I was the first to handle him-he was a real love but after we both were injured, I stopped riding and he became angry. I miss him every day.
He is gorgeous and looks so happy! What a difference!

I saved 32 horses from the lilac fire. Not only feeling like a hero the reward is giving these majestic animals another chance to live their lives the way its meant to be

Bought an Appaloosa from a sale, he was heading for a slaughter plant. He even came with papers, traced him back to Chiefs Four Mile. He turned out to be the bestest friend and companion I ever had. He lived for another 20yrs making him 28 when he died. I truly miss him and buried him with a headstone 🪦. Not to mention how much I loved him. ❤️
I wish that ALL horses at auctions would get adopted. They are so deserving ❤

In highschool I had a classmate who had a ranch with horses. Her friend bought a horse that wasn't properly cared for from a different place and brought it there where the horse was properly cared for everyday. She did offer to give money to help care for that horse and they gladly accepted. She went to visit that horse every 2 weeks on the weekend and even went horse riding with that horse. She saw a horse in need and did something about it.
