Paul Carrack has such an incredible voice! It’s just timeless
Paul Carrack could sing the telephone book and it would sound fabulous - one of the most underrated singers around !
Andy fair whetherloo
Paul is not remotely underrated - it's just that not everybody knows who he is.
Phil Collins quote.
Saw him for the 3rd time January 26th Awesome.
Sang some great songs while in Squeeze!
more credit to Chris Stainton here who played on the original with Joe Cocker, & Mad Dogs, has been there from the beginning, and backed EC for many years...go Chris!!!
Paul Carrack’s contribution to music makes him one of the greats! His talents are underrated!
Man can Carrack sing!!! Great tune!!
Saw him 2 weeks ago for the 3rd time. Awesome.
You are so right!!!
Real talent, real musicians! + 50 years and still popping.... and with CLASS!
Such a crying shame Simon Cowell never found them , he could have made them famous for 5 minutes 🤢🤢🤮🤮
No matter who is on stage playing with Mr Clapton they always seem to genuinely be enjoying themselves. And he is so cool about letting everybody stretch out and take a lead. What a class act you are Eric.
@johnzook8386, That’s exactly right! ✅
Fantastic! Paul Carrack deserves as much time in that show as Eric can give him.
PAUL CARRACK, Best tone, pitch and live sound i have ever heard !! So much natural feel !!.
Fuck me i just noticed STEVE GADD on Drums, what a supergroup Line-up !!
Paul Carrack...what a voice....
Paul carrack, Love that voice!!
This song absolutely rips! Man they just did Joe cocker! Mr. Cocker would be proud! This is some really great Rock! Eric Clapton your God!
ABSOLUTELY
They've definitely got a better instrumental sound set up than Joe Cocker, who's set-up was intentionslly sparse and done on the cheap but IMHO Cocker infuses his version with so much more rhythm and blues in his vocals. Clapton's the better guitarist but Cocker's the better vocalist.
@@danielfronc4304 Can't fault Paul Carrack's vocals but Joe Cocker was one of a kind.
What a fantastic finale! May these guys (and girls) live forever. I 'll ask the nurse for this again and again when I'm in an old people's home (I'm 72 now).
Well it was My era too,We were brought up with this music, not like the rubbish that's churned out as so called music today, absolute junk.
I wish You well.
Paul Carrack, Eric Clapton, Nathan East and Steve Gadd are all amazing at their respective crafts. It kills me when I see completely ignorant comments like this is an AARP CONCERT, by absolutely clueless knuckleheads. What an unbelievable ensemble.
Pay no mind to the troll, he was just looking for some Katy Parry or Justin Bieber music and probably stumbled across this master class in rock and roll and didn't know what to make of it.
It sounds like they played together for over a thousand years. Brilliant.
YES YES YES
maccinid Theirs no group out there today who can compare to them!
@@rickmajdowski5264 hello Rick. I think the voice of Joe Cocker could also been good, to this line up!
Through the years Andy Fairweather Low probably played about half the cool licks and hooks that everybody thought was EC.
Steve Gadd holding it all together on drums!
Steve Gadd & Nathan East
He’s so damn in the pocket.
Old guys rockin'. Another song made iconic by Chris Stainton with Joe Cocker.
I,wish,CLAPTON,would live forever. He has been involved in,soooo much beautiful and jammin, rockin music it would take forever to mention all the greats he's played, with, and, who were honored to play, with him. I,so,hope I,can, witness him live at least on more time before he is gone or,before I,go. I'm 65 years old and have been blessed to,witness and, enjoy, truly, some,of,the most amazing music and talent this, world has ever witnessed, this being some of it. THANK YOU FOR,ALL,THOSE,WHO,DEDICATED THEIR LIVES TO THE GREAT MUSIC,WE HAVE LIVED TO WITNESS. I AM SHEDDING A TEAR AS I WRITE THIS. THANK,YOU ERIC for all the, suffering, and, heartache you've,been, through in your life while remaining ; tru to your, craft, your friends, your fans,. You've,always, admitted to your mistakes and, worked through your problems, apologizing to others you may have hurt or offended and you've,come out on top to give us much of this, worlds finest music,,and you have been one of the greatest musical talents the world has known. Your are sincerely one of this, world's greatest musicians and truly a blessing to,all of us. Thank you,for the, amazing, amount of deep talent, you, have, given us all. We love and honor You ERIC CLAPTON. KEEP ROCKIN1
Mind-blowing level of musicianship on that stage.
Chris Stainton on piano, played with Cocker and Leon Russell on Mad Dogs and Englishmen, played the piano on Feeling Alright, still cooking today!
As always brilliant, Clapton always brings out the best in those who play with him. The best guitarist I have ever seen and I have seen them all.
Hi Mary Ann, You talk about the best guitarist you have ever seen. What about Robben Ford, Richie Blackmore, Keb Mo, Jerry Garcia or Albert Lee? There are at least 20 guitarist as good as Clapton and I have seen them all like you.
Not #2-3. The best #1 EVER can play anything ..Tell me one thing he can't ..#1
that solo Andy played was the killer! i'm into guitar so i like how he was so slippery with playing double notes riffs! so fine!
I'd sell my soul to sing like Carrack and play like Clapton.
To sing like Carrack...there´s better guitar Players than Clapton(although I love him)...But Paul Carracks voice is just amazing..
How much would that cost? $$$
@@krkutovaca No there aren't, don't start that bollocks. There are other guitarist you may prefer, but that doesn't make them better
Have you ever listened to Freddie King?
Head on down to the crossroads then.
One of the best musician of all times. God bless.
What a singer !!! What a Band 🎸💖
Eric, Paul, Andy Low, and Steve Gadd, tearing it up!
And Chris Stainton
And Nathan East
@@joeemick1891 Hard to think of a better rhythm section than Steve Gadd and Nathan East.
Nathan East is the magic man on bass......
Paul Carrack the man....wow...
A truly amazing gig.
Cracking solo from Andy Fairweather Low
Really good...thank you.
Masterful performance by a real powerhouse band! I could listen to this over and over.
You get the feeling these guys really enjoy jamming together. Sounds good to me (5 years younger than Clapton).
Great song great sound. Vocals are a Tour De force. Just brilliant.
Das erste Mal, dass ich Paul Carrack singen höre...Meine Güte, ist der gut!!!
Hast Du die letzten 46 Jahre geschlafen?
@@joe22589 : Vermutlich! - und vermutlich friedlicher als Du !
Andy Fairweather Low , one of the greatest guitarist ever
Andy is one of the most underated Guitarists in the world. A stellar player.
Perché Andy non ha partecipato al concerto ma entra soltanto ora? Sarei curioso di saperlo.
And also a great singer. He sang "If paradise is half as nice" with Amen Corner when he was still a teenager.
Andy Fairweather Low is THE man !
Andy you did such a great interview and again I was so happy to see you with Eric I M an alcoholic and you hit on two songs that you have done with Eric and I saw you years ago drunk with Eric couldmt remember one song. I can today 24 years sober because of God Holy Mother River of Tears My Father's eyes. The tribute to Robbie you pl Alex with Eric I sat in the front row crying beautiful God bless you ❤
This entire performance is amazing and I gotta give some love to the back up singers. You rock girls!!!👍😎
The legendary Steve Gadd on drums as well. EC knows how to pick them.
Carrack's voice is incredible. Great song
Love this song! Great Musicians
So much great music on CZcams and not enough time to enjoy it all.
True, you could spend a life time here and still not have enough time to enjoy everything
This is kickin! Love the solo by AFL!
Awesome musicianship from the band
AFL's grandmother used to live across the road from us in Cardiff. Her house had a garage but she didn't have a car so my old man used to rent the garage from her for 10 shillings a week as we didn't have a garage, can't remember ever seeing him tho although I believe he visited a few times.
I just found this on You Tube. I'm speechless! Its too good for words👍😎✌😂
This is my favorite song on the album !!
Glad I found this
ROCK FOREVER ....THANK YOU ERIC and ALL PEOPLE WHO MADE THIS )))
Love.Low's.solo.always.comes.up.with.special,omes
in the 60's I bought John Mayall album featuring this guy named Clapton...I became a fanatic fan. I was dreading the draft that summer. I survived 2 years of miraculous stateside duty.
Andy is brilliant.
Welsh,say no more !
i hope that, when these great artists become old and cannot play any more, these memories would make them feel better.- well done...
Mr Blue Eyed Soul himself. What an inspired choice of Eric ro include him in the line up - both for his keyboard skills and vocals. Also great how Eric showcases individual band members talents throughout the gig.
What a groove!
The best want to jam with Paul Carrack , Clapton could play the desert and it would sell out 😎🇺🇸⚓️
Gotta be a Devil Doc @ Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan! Sortie to Kin Vil, etc. Been there, done that over 40 years ago and couldn't agree with you more on your comment. Thanx for your service, Stay Safe Brother.
The Great Chris Stainton on piano. The Original.
Cream of musicians and music
That slide guitar and high time we went! Is unmistakably genius! I think they're both great! Hitchcock railway really drives!!! I can't pick!
Hey folks it's time for this !
So good!!
Steve Gadd is a force of nature str
Gadd can play anything anywhere with anyone when he likes
The song is called " High Time WE Went ..originally covered by Joe Cocker
Cocker actually wrote it with Stainton
The movie! Mad dogs and Englishmen!!!! Everyone must see this movie! I saw it when I was ten! Joe cocker! The undeniable Leon Russell! This movie is a must-see for any rock and roll enthusiast! I'm not sure where to get it it's a must-see! As is the movie by The Beatles let it be! Thank u Yoko for breaking the Beatles in the pieces! We would have never gotten George's great all things must pass project! Wow I never thought of that! Actually thank you so much! We would have never gotten Paul McCartney's first album! The cherries album with Linda! Okay Yoko what a mastermind! She masterminded the whole 70s music revolution!
That SOB..could sing da phone book..
Promise you..
"Steve Gadd" Enough Said!!!

That’s exactly what Phil Collins once said about Paul Carrack in an interview
Looks like a fantastic venue for rock music...hope to go there one day....

Very relevant to today. Go for your dreams.
Joe would love this.
Did I see Nathan East on bass guitar? Definitely one of the best bassists. The best (EC) gets the best! .
