Whether Shannon is an alcoholic or not, she has always lacked self awareness and accountability. Don’t call her out on something cause she will storm off like a kid. Tamara isn’t my fav housewife but when she talks about how their friendship is one sided sometimes, it’s true. Shannon has always confided in others about her personal issues including her first marriage . But when her friends are going through something, she’s not there for them. If she’s physically there, she makes it about her again.

As much as I love Shannon and want the best for her, I’m with Heather on this. It’s reminding me of how Taylor acted those first couple years on Beverly Hills when she was with Russell. Say negative things about the relationship off camera and then on camera act like everything is sunshine and rainbows. If Shannon is telling all the women about her issues with John when she’s drunk, she can’t get that upset with them being concerned about the things she says.

Shannon needs to stop drinking. I think that alcohol is not kind or good to her. It’s like she hiding her feelings and they only come out when she drinks the truth serum (as Gina said).
I think Shannon gets into these massive fights probably under the influence and then calls her girlfriends and hyperbolically explaining it (just like on the show when she retells what someone said she always makes it sound 10 times worse) and then the next day when she’s sober and over it, she either forgets or brushes it under the rug, but her friends if they’re actually listening can’t just brush that under the rug. I just don’t understand why she’s so hysterical. If your partner is going to break up with you for telling the truth about your relationship, then it’s an abusive toxic relationship. And if it’s not abusive and toxic and the only reason they would break up with you is if you lied.

Never have I ever said this, at least out loud, about any housewife, even if I thot it. Andy, or whoever needs to step in, talk to whoever he needs to who will see that Shannon gets the help she needs. It's a lot. How can she watch herself, the things she says and does and not realize she's the problem? Everyone else is singing the same song. Her version is a complete opposite and her solution, instead of listening and considering ANYTHING, is to start repeating I'm done, I'm out, and walking away. I think Shannon’s problem is that she’s upset that the other housewives brought her problems public on the show and I feel like it’s been an agreement between Shannon and her boyfriend that all their problems be kept quiet while she films. I think the other housewives like Gina and Emily think that’s unfair cause all their relationship problems were aired on the show, so they’re outing Shannon’s problems and blaming Heather, when actually Heather said things off camera but Heather expected the other housewives to keep quiet too.

For serious or heavy documentaries I go to National Geographic or BBC or other such channels. Whereas I appreciate Emily highlighting the Innocent Project, I watch the Real Housewives series for the frivolity, gossip, fashion, women relations and such like.....

The true fact is this: Shannon fights with his kids. Period. No relationship is going to last if one partner is going after/can’t get along with the other’s children. The other ladies gossiping is small and petty compared to this.

She told all these women plus probably other friends their private details. Confiding in one or two very trusted friends is understandable because you need a sounding board, but I would be very upset if my partner told a plethora of people indiscriminately.

They are all scared of Tamra. Clearly they were all aware Tamra is stirring the pot. How don't we know Shannon didn't want out of her relationship and was finding an excuse, after all her ex-husband just split with his wife.
If all that Heather says about Shannon's relationship is true, it's really sad. Her ex-husband must have done a number on her. To be so desperate to keep a man that adds nothing to your life, and probably doesn't even love you, just so you're not alone is truly depressing. One thing that's not going to help her in her emotional state is, two-faced, manipulative friends. She definitely needs to be more careful of who she confides in.
Time to take Shannon’s mic off permanently! She’s got problems that only she can fix & shouldn’t do so on tv!
She spread her life problems around before - yes you did , Heather . You did it again . That is who you are .
Also it’s telling that Shannon got dumped after this season. It explains the choppy editing of her scenes where the relationship was discussed.
Emily bringing up issues with policing and the criminal justice system in the US is top tier content!!!!!!

I just have to say that I love love love to see a housewife consciously checking her privilege and articulating in a very down to earth way how much they know they have and how grateful they need to be for it. We love to see it 👏👏👏👏

So, I know it's a little different, but I seem to remember Shannon doing something similar by claiming that Heather was "hurting her" "hurting her relationship" when David was the one who was abusive and cheating on her--she stormed into Heather's house because she was mad that she perceived Heather to be spreading "rumors" and so Heather 1) asked for her to leave because Shannon was losing her mind; 2) she admitted in a later season's reunion that Heather was trying to not discuss David's infidelity, etc. on camera. At the time, Shannon storming into her house on a rant made it difficult for Heather because it would have required Heather to lie/condone David's actions and co-sign that he was a good husband, etc. on camera. I would have asked her to leave as well rather than create a permanent record of supporting an abuser....
I get that Shannon may not be remembering the things she's telling people while drunk dialing, but c'mon. She can't act like she's not aware of her own drunken behavior at this point in her life....
I hate how Heather actually cares more than many of them but they just don't want to see that as the always automatically think she has bad intentions

I'm on team "all the ladies" as opposed to Shannon. Seems like she gets drunk and vents to the women then forgets what she says.
Her insistence that them bringing up their concerns "will ruin her relationship " tell me that it isn't good to begin with. She's acting very odd with this. I think she just doesn't want to be alone so she puts up with whatever he's doing. He wants the attention but doesn't want it known he's been a jerk to her. & she doesn't want it known since david was too & everyone knew he was cheating.
It's one thing if your friend occasionally comments how their partner messes up but if he's calling her f*t/being nasty etc, that's not cool & her friends have the right to be upset about being told that then her acting like she didn't
Shannon says over and over "I'm done, I'm done..." Well, be done!! I think she doesn't want viewers of the show to know the truth about her relationship since we all know David has had a bad second marriage. She wanted to pretend that she is happy and David is not as revenge.
Shannon has never listened to anyone when they tell her the truth. Most of these women need to stop drinking.
Tamra knows the assignment and that's why she was brought back she is carrying the season
