Thanks for the video mate, anything that has the least complicated electronics and Def system would be something to consider. But anything Andrew Camarata owns and hasn’t killed yet would have to be on the top of the shopping list. Cheers from down under.

3/3/24..JD 323D Track Loader/SkidSteer with Bucket & Grapple. Looks like you love this machine, can do lots of different projects then load up debris into your Dumpster & off you go! You did diagnostic on fuel, no rev increase & fixed it & off you go...So Dave get this machine, you will use in on your new property, it wont go unused with your work ethic🔧⚙️🔩👍😊

We have kubota SVL75s at my work and they have been a remarkable machine. We wanted to try the Takeuchi but the dealer is a little over 2 hours away. So we are staying with Kubota.

Hey Dave! The block heater has to do with what engine is in it. You can put either a aftermarket block heater right into the built in port on some diesels, or they sell aftermarket magnet block heaters that you can just stick on anywhere that is flat on the engine, usually the oil pan.

I don’t like Deere myself. We had a 323D at work and it was junk. Traded it for a new 325G. The 325G has been fine so far but it just doesn’t feel as good as other brands. I’ve ran Deere, Cat, Case, Takeuchi, and Kubota. Cat is definitely the strongest but has the highest price tag. No complaints on the Case other than I didn’t like the layout of the controls. My personal preference is Kubota. Price is fair, controls are laid out nice, plenty of power, easy to work on (if you ever had to) and I have 3 Kubota dealers within 45 minutes of my house.

Cool video to watch Dave. Everyone has a different opinion on these but ive been operating skid steers since 1982 back when Bobcats were called Clark. I used to live, breathe and bleed Bobcat. When Caterpillar came out with them i switched to them and i only recommend them now. I dont like JD because i feel like im sitting to low in them. Same with Kubota and they are hard to see out of. The best tracked model that Cat made was the 277B series. That machine would go anywhere d3 or d4 dozer would go. If you could find that model in good shape would be a good one to have. Dont go any smaller than a Cat 289 size. That size is perfect for what you do.

I'd say that machine needs the glow plugs/glow plug controller/relay replaced, but then again given those electrical issues you encountered, who knows. Also from what i've seen on youtube so far, it seems like people often have problems with newer John Deere equipment right outta the gate.

Dave when you’re going to purchase your next skid stir to me support availability of parts were the most important things when you buy a piece of equipment you don’t wanna be spending an hour each way to go get parts I started with a case 1835 hand control my next machine was a bobcat 773 year was 2001 and got a back up machine I bought a little less 130 bobcat skid stir two of the machines were ihand control one was pedals the only thing I could ever do with pedals is write a bike but I needed it for a small job.. That why I purchase the machine…..I’m a bobcat guy but I probably look at case cause they close proximity in the area .. I’m about ready to purchase another machine in the lead to be bobcat an intermediate machine like an S 64 I don’t know what the case compatible is and I’m gonna go rubber tires……. I got steel tracks to go on my machine you wanna demo business trash business I’d probably go tracks or go steel tracks over the rubber tires you have a lot of options but the John Deere machine did impress me at all take care junkman do

      @@DieselCreek
      Can is a problem
-The controls on all the ones I have run are just off. Like the response is slow.
      -The power is light.
-They are really loud. This is a me gripe because I have really good hearing so I pick up a lot of background noise that other people can’t hear. So listening to everything on the machine rattle with no sound proofing is annoying.
      -A pain to work on
      -Cab is cheaply made
-Seats are uncomfortable. Which may sound dumb but we have guys in machines for 12+ hours at a time so that matters for employees.
What I have found a lot of people coming from very old machines to a newer tachashitty or people buying their first skid love them. But guys coming from new main brands Cat, Deere, Bobcat and Kubota usually don’t like the tachashitty. But everyone is welcome to their own opinion. My autistic mind is sometimes not the popular opinion.
I will say they do hold there own in head to head match up and the cab door sliding up is amazing. It is a big gripe I have with my Cats because sometimes you need two people just to unload stuff since you can’t get out of the cab.

    • @DieselCreek
      @DieselCreek Před 4 měsíci +3

@@MattyDardani I’ve run every brand, cat cabs seem to be the best but in my experience the takeuchis have always seemed the strongest and most rugged. Old bobcats seemed decent but whenever doosan bought them out I thought they felt very cheaply made, I had a wacker neuson st45 on a job once and it was a very bare bones machine but honestly surprised me how stout it was and access was amazing. Deere and ASV also have the access thing down but I don’t care for their operation. Haven’t spent a lot of time in a kubota but I’ve seen working on them is a nightmare

Another thing if your starting out on a skidsteer you will be more smooth on it if u use the throttle knob up on the side n leave the pedal alone constantly on & off the gas pedal makes u more jerky n them lil engines like constant rpm
