New Format! Who had the better lists, Dylan or Zack?
Drug use in weightlifting
@@ulf. just lift
At least listening to Zack Telander is NOT killing my gainz
Talk about how weight lifting movements might transfer over to other areas(power lifting, body building, and sport) and how those can help weight lifting.
Where to buy those sensei sandals
This format is literally perfect
It’s like a hybrid between sitting in on training and a podcast, it’s a great format!
Chat and lift with Dylan - yes, please more of this series!
This video is perfect, exactly the kind of content that I look forward to the most from you
Definitely keep this series going. Two of some of the best down to earth weightlifters discussing and training is great content
1. Squat (atg and paused)
2. Pull-Ups/Chin-Ups
3. OHP
4. SLDL/RDL
5. BB Row
Nice selection
yooo these are the exactly the exercises I train aside from accessories (and I also do dips but this is a top 5 not a top 6 lol)
I, for one, happen to love this format. Fun, mellow, casual, friendly. I dunno, it just speaks to me. Two friends, lifting, hanging out, just enjoying. It’s such a good vibe and a nice break from the generally intense high energy presentation of lifting, fitness, and sport.
Zach this new series is Godly content, so long as you enjoy it please keep.pumping it out! Some faves f the best vids yet and my fav format in YT fitness
I need more of this format, for sure. Good topic and simple weightlifting session with a respected buddy. Love it. I wanna hang out with you guys.
YESSSSS IVE BEEN PUMPED FOR THIS VIDEO SINCE YOU STARTED POSTING THE REELS FROM IT LETS GOOOOOO
Definitely love this format! Keep doing more of these Zack!
Excellent format and content. Adding Dylan and the dynamic back-and-forth brought out excellent training information, gave my brain a workout.
I like this new format a lot. It makes me happy in my heart. ❤
Love it man, I love the selection and the format! One leg movements for the win!
This is a dope series! Mad respect for both of yah.
Please continue this series/video format. Really cool.
This the best vibe I've ever seen in a video. Just 2 guys chilling in a driveway while chatting and doing some training.
Loved this video Zack. Outdoor training and good conversation. ❤️
love this format, make it weekly please
This needs to be a continuous series
best typa video to watch while eating/chilling, def keep it going, was such a nice warm vibe
I absolutely love this format, more please. Also can we get a full version of the intro song on streaming services? It absolutely slaps
Yeah, we need this.
This format is nice. Chilling talking lifting.
Love this format! How about the idea of having multiple weightlifting federations, having tested/untested and comps with prize money more like powerlifting
Been waiting for this for the last week. Glad it’s finally here!
LOVE the format. Easy to work along with.
digging the new format
This format is so nice, love the vibe
This format reminds me of training with my buddy, just working out and B.S.ing. I love it.
Love the format and as a trainer, athlete, & massage therapist, how could I not agree with pretty much everything you guys said?!
I like this. It's like talking with the boys about who's your top 5 NBA or NFL players. Just shooting the shit in the driveway
Love the format, I’m a strongman fan, so I really want to hear you guys talk about your favorite strongman lifts of all time. I like thinking about your perspective because it’s really different than mine.
Love it. Hyped to go hit some big powers this afternoon.
Love listening and watching these format while charting at work😅
topic ideas for next ep:
- what disciplines/movements from weightlifting should the average gym goer (that trains bodybuilding-ish style) incorporate into their routine? and how should they start?
- biggest spine health misconceptions
- how do you approach the topic of telling a loved one that you think they should start caring about their health a bit more (diet or basic physical exercise) especially if they suffer and complain from something (bein obese or too weak) but think physical exercise or all that health stuff is "not for them"?
Luv this format so real !!!!!
i could watch this for hours! make this a series!
Love this format!
Never comment on anything but I a directed podcast esq conversation whilst lifting with your bro is an immaculate vibe
Love this style of video, please do
more! You both got good top 3, 5 and 7 but I’ll be honest I’ll give Dylan the win on all 3 here 👍🏼😺

Absolutely love the format!
Really liked this format, it's interesting and dynamic!
30 seconds in and the editing is on the another level
19:30 concerning the chatgpt comment, I just went on there and asked “write me an Olympic weightlifting training plan” and the result is pretty impressive:
Here is a sample Olympic weightlifting training program:
Monday:
Warm-up: 10-15 minutes of light cardio (e.g. jogging in place, jumping jacks)
Snatch: 3 sets of 3 reps
Snatch pull: 3 sets of 3 reps
Overhead squat: 3 sets of 3 reps
Cool-down: 5-10 minutes of stretching
Tuesday:
Warm-up: 10-15 minutes of light cardio (e.g. jogging in place, jumping jacks)
Clean and Jerk: 3 sets of 3 reps
Clean pull: 3 sets of 3 reps
Jerk dip squat: 3 sets of 3 reps
Cool-down: 5-10 minutes of stretching
Wednesday: Rest day
Thursday:
Warm-up: 10-15 minutes of light cardio (e.g. jogging in place, jumping jacks)
Snatch: 3 sets of 2 reps
Snatch pull: 3 sets of 2 reps
Overhead squat: 3 sets of 2 reps
Cool-down: 5-10 minutes of stretching
Friday:
Warm-up: 10-15 minutes of light cardio (e.g. jogging in place, jumping jacks)
Clean and Jerk: 3 sets of 2 reps
Clean pull: 3 sets of 2 reps
Jerk dip squat: 3 sets of 2 reps
Cool-down: 5-10 minutes of stretching
Saturday: Rest day
Sunday:
Warm-up: 10-15 minutes of light cardio (e.g. jogging in place, jumping jacks)
Snatch: 1 set of 1 rep
Clean and Jerk: 1 set of 1 rep
Cool-down: 5-10 minutes of stretching
It's important to note that this is a general template and it's important to start with light weight and focus on proper form before adding weight. Also, consult with a coach or trainer before starting any Olympic weightlifting program. It's also important to note that Olympic weightlifting is a highly technical sport, so proper coaching and training is crucial for injury prevention and optimal performance.
Coolest video ever! Love the format. Cannot tell why , but its chill. Your voices are clear in the yard and the you guys train during the video
Its like i am learning stuff from two gym bro secretly while they are training and exchanging information
Im loving the evolution of your content
When’s the next episode? I really like this format.
sick content man, keep em comin!
This is cash a training/podcast video absolute fire
The intro theme is dope.
I thoroughly enjoyed nerding out on this lol
So much fun, do one million more of these please
Considering the scenario, number 1 would be Deadlifts for me, since i would want something to distract me from being stranded on a desert island and Deadlifts are very fun
Love this format
As someone who often finds themselves carrying a lot of items while waiting for or taking the bus, curls have been an immense boon. Being able to hold a static position (like carrying a toddler) while walking for a mile or more is huge. If you’re on an island chances are you’ll have to walk and carry things a lot
Carrying items does not include bicep strength though. Carrying bags or doing farmers walks would be more beneficial.
@@JinnDante You carry your toddler like a grocery bag?
@@JinnDante so you carry your bag or sth so that its scrapping the floor?
@@mariushager9983 im sorry how big is your bag, or how short are your legs?
yeah but do a compound movement that hits the biceps as well, doing a curl is just leaving strength you could have on the table
I like the format a lot
lifting philosophy, weightlifting drills explained but not over-explained, and quality time with the boys.
i'm sold, where do I swipe my card
Love it, hopefully it becomes a regular fixture.
Please make this 80s intro style a reoccurring theme, I love it!
Intro is fucking fire
Hell yeah this is sick. Perfect "lunchtime" content
I like this new format very clean
love the format.
Great format
Really enjoyed this format!
Definitely keep doing this dude, this is amazing
Been waiting too damn long (ie a week) for this premier and I’d didn’t disappoint!!🤘🏼🤘🏼
Good stuff fellas!
RPE: Wintergreen 6mg
Zack took podcasting to another level. Really like this format.
Awesome intro!
cool format!
This right here is some SOLID freaking content 👌🏽
Love the video, I think you all are missing out on bringing gymnastics movements into the equation. Take a ring muscle up for example, you have a pull and a dip in a single movement, you have hip extension, targets core, and is a high force production movement, you develop lots of speed and power. Also very technical so you are training your coordination as well.
Don't know why specifically but I fooking loved this format.
That intro is a banger ! As soon as Bugez hears that, he’ll be training with Zach the next day
cannot stress how much i love this idea, we need more dylan content
DUDE THIS WAS THE GREATEST FORMAT. Makes me miss lifting with my brother though lol
This is great I could watch this all day
Fun watch. Zack have you considered talking to Dan John? He likes doing podcasts and seems like it'd be right up your alley
I think Greg Nuckols also went with a thruster or push press to hit the overhead pressing and some leg/hip drive involved for one of his hypothetical minimalist programs, mentioning how one can tune the strength/power curve of the movement by how much you push with the legs versus overhead pressing
Just know folks that watching Zack Telander is NOT killing your gainz
Nothing better than this!
Loooove this format
This format is dope
Love this and the training content with Dylan! The boooooys
Great format, love it
Nice format
