shane-deenst is how you say that name lol. also joey jay got the start in game 1 because CPU manager values him more. spahn wasnt a strikeout pitcher in 57, he didnt have good K numbers and so the ratings absolutely kill him in this game especially because youre using 1982 settings for the series it means strikeouts are expected more than the 57 settings so spahn gets hurt by that as well. weird that joey jay is even on the team though he really didnt play in 57.
Recreating alternate history with different parameters like early integration or players coming in at random times in history is my favourite thing in OOTP
or taking a team in a particular season and playing out all their games, it's amazing the detail you get now the graphics are a lot better than they used to be too
Love baseball (Rangers/Nationals/Redwings-AAA). So very excited for this season. Never been great at micromanaging games.

Glad you are covering this....I have been playing Diamond Mind Baseball for my PC since the mid 90's and love that game engine. I tried OOTP on my phone about 5 years ago and was not wowed by it...thanks for the review!
The mobile version and the PC version of OOTP are not the same. The mobile version is much more streamlined.

not as detailed. but i like it for the older, more casual player like me.

I’m starting a franchise on here! I have a question, how do you zoom in for your stream to make the screen more visible? This seems way clearer than mine as in on playback I can see the words and everything better here
I would love to see a 59, 63, or 65 Dodgers WS against your choice. Also a it would be cool to see a dead ball (or prior) era of old teams vs modern teams

I mean I’m a Brewers fan so… in my lifetime the 2018 and 2011 Brewers were prolly the most fun. Those Prince Fielder teams had a really fun energy but 2018 was also up there. I was too young to remember Yount/Molitor teams.

The Japanese leagues were in the game previously but have been removed due to licensing issues.

I just bought the game myself. I had to laugh that there's actually some graphics/video card options. Wouldn't it be great if they could somehow offer commentators/announcers for any game we set up? So just start any game you want, walk away from our monitors and just *listen* to the game as it plays out...

What is challenge mode?
Did monitor just die or the lights on the display? I fixed my lg tv with black screen, some decent videos on how to fix, easy
Backlight works, power works, pc detects the monitor, issue is no picture displays, and when disconnected from the PC you also don’t get any “no source detected”

I’m having a major problem with trying to play this game and I asked them for help on it on the discord and they told to post it on the forum. What kind of a company is this anymore terrible. Why do they bother even having a discord channel if they aren’t willing to help people with their problems. I mean I’m about ready to file a formal complaint against them over this. I keep getting a configuration parsar error message on ootp 25.
