Believe Me i Would Know... I did it For Many Years... & I Used to Go Home % Hear that Song in My Head 😂😂😂😂😂
Who’s here after the Facebook video? :,)
Yep 😂
Omg, me
The man who'd wrote this has passed away, according to the Facebook Mister Softee page! RIP to Him.
That racist
i could never hate this jingle
Forbes must be miserable af to hate an ice cream jingle
i literally laughed out loud
I hate too
I would kill for a double chocolate cone, dipped in chocolate, and a banana boat... I haven't heard that song in over 25 years, and all those summer memories from Queens came flooding back.
Likewise, Rosedale '88-'93. I remember a remixed version of this song that used to play often when it came through, you know which one I'm talking about?
Queens girl here too.... It was the best part of my childhood waiting for that truck to come around
Who would ever that song! Great childhood memories.
Wonderful! Childhood!
I could not work on a route through a neighborhood providing ice cream to the residents. The job could be enjoyable - meeting people throughout the neighborhood. Bringing a little happiness to a child - and children at heart would be great.
It is the 'digital mu-sick" that would DRIVE ME CRAZY!
By the end of the day - I would be a raving lunatic!
IN THIS COUNTRY WE LOVE ICE CREAM AND ICE CREAM TRUCKS
0:53-1:03 🎵🎶
I love that song
That song he would go crazy the ice cream man
Better than the atrocious ice cream truck from Hell that prowls our local neighbourhood streets during the summer. It blasts out "It's a Small World After All" at 100 dB along with an assortment of bells and whistles, while clattering along at 1 mph pumping out noxious diesel fumes.
You should launch water balloon rockets at it. Declare war on anything disturbing the peace with Disney tunes.
It's the kind of tune that evokes images of John Wayne Gacy in his nightmarish clown persona.

That's so cool! Is there also. an Andy Griffith Show ice cream truck jingle that exists? That could be done with chimes. If I heard an ice cream truck playing the Andy Griffith theme, I'd be so excited, I'd buy an ice cream treat from the truck to show my appreciation.
It’s the best ice cream song!
I love this song who hates this?
Gimme a Vanilla soft serve 1:10 with red candy coating! 🍦
all I can hear is “smoking gasolina”😭
🎵 come here ya little Stoopid fools I come to get ya money🎵 that's my words to the softee jingle😂😂😂
I might use this tune to trick my siblings >:)
r.i.p. :(
Look up the original ice cream truck song it’s gonna blow your mind it’s from Harry Brown, 1916😂 😂😂😂😂😂
I don’t know how but people are mixing this up with a different ice cream truck tune with racist origins. Mr. Softee is by no means related or similar to the racist VERSION of Turkey In The Straw. At this point either some need hearing aids or they need to double check.
Yeah Mr. Softee song was OK. I never heard the one that's controversial. We only had Mr softee trucks come around my neighborhood when I was a kid.
Mr. Softee. 🤣🤣
I lived in New York during the seventies and eighties. As a songwriter, when I feel strongly about something, I express my emotions through song. I had strong emotions about the Mr. Softee song! I wrote the following lyrics to go along with the endless soundtrack:
Mr. Softee
This is the tune Mr. Softee plays to try and drive us crazy
This is the tune Mr. Softee plays to try and drive us crazy
Over, over, all day long
All night too, the same old song!
This is the tune Mr. Softee plays to try and drive us crazy
This is the tune Mr. Softee plays to try and drive us crazy
C-R-A-Z-Y, oh why?
Mister Softee!

Lol I heard the music in head as I was reading the lyrics
I suddenly, MUST HAVE ICE CREAM
Mark III music box.
Softee Ice comes mr games
Keith ☀️🥵 sun
Always thought it was "Mairzy Dozy?"
I wish I had an Ice Cream Truck, if only so I could dress up as Needles Kane -- put a flaming clown head on top, and deliver Ice Cream from August up till Halloween.
I'd end up being chased by Sony and Mr. Softee's lawyer teams, but what a way to go.
Ah NYC
I love this song. RIP creator of Softee.
Sad cause im from east new york and i grew up with that song.
Arent there people now saying the song has a racist origin. Is this true?
Yes the real one said” a n-word love a watermelon”
@@babyyodacoochiegrease6466 apparently the n-word one was a parody of another song called turkey in the straw. But apparantly mr softee has a different song and they posted the original lyrics.
Yep true .
I rather buy ice cream from the store than buy it off the truck. They charge too much money
One just cameby the neighborhood and its 45° outside. That damned tune!! To hear it a few minutes is torture. My previous address, a end of rowhome, it would be parked alongside my home 20 mins, with the same repetitive tune. I had jobs with shift work and be sleeping, later years my mom homebound and demented, would wake her when I got her ti sleep so I could catch up on missing sleep only to have that damned tune alongside my home. Hey Mr. Softie- people in residential areas have various hours of jobs, others its having young children napping only to be woken by you guys. Its a different world than in the 1960s. Outdated way to sell whatever that concoction of simulating icecream! Go away and stay away!!
The music always brings me to the beginning of spring or summer. Even though Mr softee trucks are just a petri dish of bacteria and bad substance called ice cream 😂
#Childhood
Man the world had changed a lot ice cream trucks where I love don't play that racist jingle
This isnt the racist jingle, dipshit
This is not the one that relates with Turkey in the straw.
Oh nicca love a watermelon song 😞☹️
The mr softee song is different from the other ice cream song
That’s not even true
... this song was originally turkey in the straw and the racist song was just lyrics done to the music
The mister softee song is different from the other ice cream song
Yes, that was a different Ice Cream truck theme song.
I hate that song it's Torturous 😳🙉
Why tho? I'm just asking.
The ice cream song is raciest to me and all the other black people in the world
The mr softee song is different from the other ice cream song
I know what you mean, but that is a different song, based on some old Minstrel songs, but Mr. Softee didn't use that. They made their own song for their commercial.
Cool
I thought mr. Softee was only in Philadelphia
HAAAAAAAA!
it is based in runnemede nj and i pass by it sometimes
It's in NY too
Ny Massachusetts
