- Another world first video! This is my top speed of the Kawasak Eliminator 500. Looks like it is a bit faster than the Honda Rebel 500, though I was unable to check it with GPS at the time.

Thank you for posting this. My stepfather introduced me to cruisers last year (he'd been pushing me to try one of his) so I have put maybe a few hundred miles on his HD Dyna, a 750lb monster. I've been to stores and have sat on an Eliminator 500. Love the lower weight and decent fuel efficiency. My sole gripe with it so far is the lack of forward controls, which I need on a cruiser due to long legs. Hoping the aftermarket comes through on these if Kawasaki doesn't.
Not sure if forward controls will be available. Did you also check the Kawa Vulcan S? Weighs a bit more though, but the engine is more powerful too.
@@MotoSnax Sat on one just the other day. Thought I recognized some gen1 Versys 650 parts on it!
It is more cruiser than the Eliminator is. And yes, probably some parts are used or look similar.
Supermeteore 650 Royal Enfield is more cheaper and faster . More confortable too.
@@sidneyjr1560 Over here you pay 33,3% more for the Super Meteor 650. The Kawasaki is 7.499 EUR, the Super Meteor is 9.999 EUR.
AMAZING
Mooi ding, i hopefully will get one this summer
Nice!
Mine should arrive in the shop this week. Gotta wait for the paperwork, then we can take it home. Only problem is I have ~3 months till I get my licence, until then only my dad can drive it.
haha, have a fun ride dude.
Oh that is gonna be a long wait! Enjoy once you are allowed to ride it!
Hello, which software do you use on your phone to see speed/top speed/distance etc.? Thanks.
Speedometer from Cool Niks.
Would you recomend this bike for long travels on highways , lests say 500kms, ? also, how good/stable feels at 120 / 130 km/h ? Thank you so much great video
It's a 450 motorcycle. A good 1. Depending on how fast ya want to go hell yes it's good for long ride. Short rides long rides. It's a motorcycle. Maybe your confused or something
I would recommend another bike for those long rides. At those speeds it will hold well, but the seating position for those long rides... not sure if it is the best. I would rather recommend the Ninja 500 or better, Ninja 650 or so.
The Eliminator may be more comfortable than the Ninjas and Z bikes, it depends on what feels good to YOU.
What if you put your head down close to the gas tank and reduce air resistance?
I did that, camera fov shows it a bit different. The EU model has 45 hp. Outside of Europe probably 51 hp.
I know KPH is easier and used the world over, but in American we’re looking at just over 100mph screaming. I could see this bike cruising around 85mph, maybe for longer periods???
The engine would have no problem with that. But if you can call it 'cruising'? I think the more comfortable cruising speed is around 75 mph.
I think it'll be fine on American highways. And i'm in Texas where we have 75mph with folks driving 85+. I would do it, but some folks tend to think they need more power and lower rpm (Harley riders lol)
I have a KLX230SM and max it out all the time. But its top speed is 75mph which may limit me to the 65mph highways (unless traffic isn't crazy on the faster highways).
Yes, i'll ride my KLX230SM max speed on the highway. Not a problem. One thing to check is the little 'nub' in its intake, it tends to get a little oil in it after a while which is normal when riding high rpm. I think it is called a breather hose. But this goes for any bike. Also, u may burn a little more oil at high rpm as well. Something to keep an eye on, not really an issue (it is normal and jap bikes can handle it)
Welk motorblok presenteert beter in jou mening de oude 399cc of deze 451. Er gaat nog al wat discussie rond dat de 399 de voorkeur krijgt.
Durf ik pas te zeggen als ik de Z500 test.
Is 110 kmh ok for bike?
@bbwin1 Yes, no problem for the bike/engine
Inky dink zoo bloctenstien. Zee mukten de flallen da boozey.
What's your weight?
A little over 100 kg without riding gear. Might be faster if you weigh less. Then again, you don't want to ride this fast on a bike like this. 😁
KPH, right?
Yes.
Ma z300 fonctionne mieux 😅
This one pulls a bit faster because it has more torque, but it might be possible the Z300 has a higher top speed.
