Sly Cooper's Broken Justice System

- From what we've learned from this series, the level of crime does not seem to matter sometimes. Sly Cooper's broken justice system is certainly something that brings up a lot of questions, especially ones surrounding the Panda King. For all the crimes he had committed in the past, why was we he set free so easily?

Five bucks says that Panda King was only arrested for tax evasion.
“I am crazy enough to go against Cooper, But the IRS?! Nooo thank you”
Reads title. “Ah. I see we are going dark this episode.”
Especially with that thumbnail of Sly.
Zax The Hedgehog
Yep, that’s the first thing I saw.
Sly and Jak has to come back to set the platforming genre to its core
Yes ratchet and clank tried but still need help even tho the 2015 version is one of Playstation greatest hits its still make me upset that the press the reboot Button on the franchise. like why change they personalities went from Rated T to Rated E like why not it just little childish especially the plot of 2015.
@@tolen1689 bro I don't care I just want Jak and sly to return they've been dead for a while
We. Need them i pray they don't press the reboot button cus r &c tried that and it heavily destroyed the franchise in my opinion Jak4 Please come 2024
I got 3 ideas as to why their time in was short:
1 - They’re animals so they don’t live as long and their measurement of “years old” is different (dog years for example).
2 - They were never actually proven guilty of having killed Sly’s parents and the punishments were appropriate based on #1 or #3. “Innocent until PROVEN guilty in a court of law”.
3 - They’re crooks and should obviously have connections inside for getting out sooner/preventing the worst or really “good” lawyers for shortening time, Constable Neyla and the Contessa being a perfect example of this.
Always thought it was weird how Mugshot was arrested and then went on to compete in aces, an international event with no disguise whatsoever knowing he was still wanted by interpol.
Lol, funny when you think about it
Well Mugshot is pretty strong physically, so it wouldn't be much of a surprise that he decided to bust himself out, perform a jail break, and continue building his strength.
And that makes the most sense
I was thinking of you and sly and you popped up 15 min later!! Thank youu
That's great to hear :D
I just realised you've done backstory videos on Ratchet characters like Clank, Qwark, Ace Hardlight, Ratchet's parents and such but haven't done one of Ratchet himself, that would really be a good one, analysin' his backstory from how he was shipped to Veldin, growin' up for 15 years by himself, livin' a harsh life with no one to teach him right and wrong, gainin' street cred and knowledge from collectin' parts to build ships and guns, how he got into illegal street racin' after he was able to leave his planet and how Clank steered him away from livin' a dangerous life and turnin' into a bad person.
He really got one of the most interestin' and rough upbringin's of the many characters, it's definitely worth coverin'.
For sure!!!!!
There is so much to go around with this.
Apparently, Raleigh's storm machine also sank several airplanes as well as the ships. He plundered all of them for their loot, which is very well enough of a crime to have him arrested for so long, he never appears again in the games after the INTERPOL officers show up in Sly 1. We even see Raleigh in jail in the second issue of the comics. This type of piracy, I think, is more illegal than modern-day piracy of films. Since LeFwee is a full-time pirate, I am sure that he would have been arrested for piracy, too (and at that, longer than Raleigh), if 1. there was an INTERPOL agent in Blood Bath Bay and 2. Penelope did not kill him during the boss fight.
Muggshot's gambling empire was established in Mesa City, which is said to be in Utah in the series. In real life, gambling and casinos are illegal in Utah, as well as the location with the real Mesa City: Arizona. If I were to guess whether he was legally released from prison or broke out of prison between the times of the second issue of the comics and Sly 3, I'd say that he broke out because those are worth such a lengthy prison sentence, especially considering that he ruled the entire empire, which was practically filled to the brim with gamblers in the casinos. It must have been even more illegal for him to compete in the ACES competition, considering that this competition was held illegally by someone who was originally ineligible for competing in the dogfights disguised as another person who is eligible for being in the competition. Since we don't see him in Sly 4 at all, it can most likely be assumed that his sentence was extended for both his competition in ACES and his theft of the golden watch and kidnapping of Carmelita shown in Timing is Everything, not to mention the crimes that he committed in the thirteen other nations.
The thing about Mz. Ruby is very easy to explain. Not only did she reanimate the dead, but she used voodoo magic for destructive forests. Her minions are also known to have driven all of the locals out of the Haitian jungles. That life sentence for reanimation of the dead must have come with an extreme fine. I would bet that General Tsao was also arrested for life because he reanimated the dead, too, even though the length of his term in prison was never explained. However, this may have been different, since Mz. Ruby created zombies and ghosts, while General Tsao only created vampires.
That thing about Panda King is also mighty confusing. Those crimes would definitely make him warrant a longer term in prison, unless we take into account that he might have been in jail for a few years between the death of Sly's parents and Sly 1. His hiding position might not have ultimately been the best at the time, but he could have gone back to his hideout in China, assuming he was somewhere else beforehand. After that, the crimes that he committed with his firework craftsmanship can cause his extra sentence. Since we don't see him locked up in Heathrow Penitentiary, he may have been arrested within China. It is mentioned in the comic that Heathrow Penitentiary is in the United States. Since Panda King can't leave the country when he is on parole, the thing about him being locked up in China makes sense. When we see him in the closing credits of Sly 3, he is holding the firework launcher that he used while working for the Cooper Gang. Could he have possibly put something into it, and that would be how he protected Jing King? I'm doubtful because he retired.
Clockwerk certainly deserved his death because of the murder that he committed to the entirety of the Cooper Clan before Sly. He is the one who I think most killed Conner and Sly's mother.
Dimitri was most likely locked up in Heathrow Penitentiary when Carmelita and Neyla arrested him in Sly 2. He had to have been released somehow because he became a dance teacher on a cruise ship before being arrested again, which explains why he was locked up at the police HQ in Venice in Sly 3.
Rajan supposedly got out of jail at around the same time as Dimitri and the Contessa, but given that he was harvesting illegal spice and that his ball was crawling with INTERPOL agents, he probably should have been in jail for longer. After all, Carmelita began arresting all of the attendees to his ball (except for the Klaww Gang members Jean Bison and Arpeggio) once the Clockwerk wings had been stolen. His ancestral palace also has a hoax for a name because it isn't actually an ancestral palace; it's one that he had purchased quite recently. Not only that, but his spice temple is also an abandoned one that was restored without any legal consent. He was into the black market industry since he was a poor child. However, something tells me that he wanted to be the only person around his property who wanted to be making sales on the black market, since before the Cooper Gang sold the ruby to the guys who gave them a Cherry Bomb 500, a message that can be heard on the intercom in the safehouse, which is spoken by Rajan, states that black market members do not have the right to work within his territory, and he actually commanded people to chase them away.
When it comes to the Contessa, I am sure that she is the only one who knew that she poisoned he husband's drink during the wedding ceremony. This might also be a pun on the fact that she is part black widow; she killed him in order to obtain his fortune, and that is how he was able to open up her prison disguised as a rehabilitation clinic. I can agree that her position at INTERPOL, which she earned from the positive results of her pioneering use of hypnotherapy, overshadowed what happened in her past. Of course, this prison was up front so that she could hypnotize the inmates into forcing them to reveal where their loot is stashed. Bentley stated that this is the most heinous crime that he ever heard of, and just like he said, it dishonors both sides of the law. Then, of course, we can acknowledge that she and Neyla went to war. They were both rogue INTERPOL agents who were secretly part of the Klaww Gang, but Neyla might have been more rogue than the Contessa because she backstabbed Carmelita and the Cooper Gang, while working for Arpeggio all the while, and she eventually backstabbed the Contessa as well. The Contessa stepped down from being in the Klaww Gang, but retained her position as a prison warden in INTERPOL, and probably the most rogue of them all. Those crimes would have made her warrant an arrest longer than the supposed time it would have taken her to join real estate at pretty much the same time when Dimitri became a dance teacher, Rajan founded Karpet King, and Jean Bison became a member of the EPA.
Neyla was so rogue, in fact, she actually said that nobody will ever stop her after Bentley defeated her on the Iron Horse train heist. This would be further evidenced by her betrayal of Arpeggio and the birth of Clock-La. Neyla had committed so many crimes, including the murder of Arpeggio, that she really deserved the death row. Clock-La as an individual deserved it more because she is an amalgamate of Clockwerk and Neyla.
Octavio definitely deserved to be sentenced to thirty years in prison because of everything that he did with starting a mob to make people become fans of opera music again. This severity is more well-deserved because he polluted the canal and sank landmarks all throughout Venice.
El Jefe took over so many countries that it would have been outlawed in those places specifically. He can even do this with an army consisting of only three blind mice armed with plastic spoons. In Japan, he actually caused some destruction, too. His prison sentence has to have been something close to the length of the Grizz's sentence, which was real lengthy. If you ask me, then I'll tell you that vandalism followed by selling forged cave painting and other counterfeit art is way worse than what Dimitri did, so the Grizz definitely deserved a prison sentence that long.
Don't get me wrong, but Le Paradox deserved his life sentence way more than Sly did. Sly always kept fighting for justice while still committing crimes, whereas Le Paradox just committed extreme crimes and looked for nothing else but a completed life of crime. I have no clue how long Sly would have gone to jail if he hadn't escaped from the helicopter at the end of Sly 2, but he surely wouldn't have gotten a life sentence. Since Penelope designed Le Paradox's time machine and all that, I think that her sentence was something close to a lifetime sentence, but I am unsure. She actually managed to escape from maximum security, and that's a chaotic issue.
never gave any thought to sly series' justice system and imprisonments, great topic.

Real law applied to a thieving game series. In the words of Sly Cooper in the after credit scene of Thievious Raccoonous, “This is gonna be fun”
Interesting as always! When it's Sly Cooper, I'm always a fan 😄
Clearly, we know from game three panda king has multiple personalities, therefore perhaps he made an insanity plea, and the meditation thing was part of his sentence, which would explain why he was guarded in that episode
It's a better ending then 4 but it's always kinda bothered me how in Sly 3 when Sly fakes his amnesia Carmelita lie's and says he's her partner, Constable Cooper... As if his criminal record can disappear along with his memories also ignoring the credentials he'd need to become a Constable on the spot..
It could be that the justice system focuses on rehabilitation rather than retribution? Would explain why all the villains-turned-good-guys are out on shorter sentences, and all the recurring villains who aren't good guys are still in InterPol's headlights.
As for the lack of a murder charge, I'd imagine that's probably because theyre simply unaware of the fact that it happened connected to the five, though that's grasping for something more than anything.
I also think it's worth noting that (unless I am remembering incorrectly) Clockwerk didn't even have any kind off file warrant, and Carmalita didn't even attempt to take him alive. She and Sly clipped his wings and then straight up killed him even after he was down. I'm not defending Clockwerk or bashing Cooper by any means of course, I like to think it was Carmalita's sense of justice stepping in before the letter of a clearly disfunctional law, because even if they HAD given Clockwerk any kind of substantial sentence... He's kind of immortal as far as aging goes? And given that his hatred for others is literally the thing keeping him alive, he's no chance of being rehabilitated back into society.
Born and raised in the state of Tennessee but to answer your question Vivi the judicial system in my world is very similar to the one in yours.
One thing I know Sly, is that the state of Tennessee has the death penalty, so if the Fiendish Five were caught the night they murdered your parents, they would've likely get a severe punishment, what do you think?
@@jackbartholomaus6510 Well... Besides Panda King I think the death penalty would be fair.
@@jackbartholomaus6510 I'm partial to the Panda King because he changed and became part of my gang, But concerning the justice system I would let the courts do their work and not interfere.
@@slycooper4506 I feel like Mugshot and Clockwork would get the death penalty, what do you think?
@@jackbartholomaus6510 most likely.
You know the Kids Choice Awards, VIVI?
As for the whole "Sly's family not being mentioned during there arrests" thing... most of the text on those newspapers are literally grey blocks, so we aren't getting many details at all about what's going down. It's totally plausible that things like accounts of Murder would have been on the mentioned if the artists wanted to go into enough detail to actually put words on the newspaper (beyond a headline).
Furthermore, I find it unlikely that the the police knew that the house the Five raided was the then-current home to the latest in the line of a family of thieves (It dose sound like something they would act on if they knew, and also something that the family members wouldn't keep from the police), so to them it is probably just a random house they ransacked and killed the homeowners of, which would be small potatoes compared to the other things the members were likely doing (or maybe even one of many places that was busted into), and thus probably not worth mentioning specifically to the press, even if it was still on record.
Yo VTNVIVI is there any way to collect signatures to tell Sanzaru, or at least sony that we want another game? Cuz rebooting the story would be a terrible mistake. I have a couple of Ideas on how Sly could return and I think this one is pretty nice: Seeing history clues about racoon thieves on ancient egypt and going there with Carmelita's help. Even tho there's a problem: we lack a game developer. Sanzaru said that they wanted to continue the Saga but it never happened. Plus the new generations dont know the original Sly games. Thats a huge problem, I think they should Re-make it for PS5 and also Including it on other platforms like PC or Xbox, I mean, the 4 games, and then making the 5th game for PS5 too or maybe the next console. They need to announce the story from the beginning again. What do you think? please reply VIVI, Im a big fan of you and of sly cooper :D
I loved collecting the clue bottles in jailbreak and a tangled web in sly 2. Bentley kept on going how good the contessa is with the vault codes!
Okay first off, this is your most unique Sly Cooper video I've seen yet; and second, I agree with everything you said although while Panda King was involved with the murder of Sly's parents I think he got a good hit or two while Muggshot did worse given that the shadow of his fist his chocking Sly's dad while Clockwerk was the one directly kill them given everything we know about him.
I am genuinely surprised that Interpol hired the contessa at all given the fact that she's just a little creepy.
She's good at what she does and they didn't have any reason to suspect her of any wrongdoing. That they knew of. They sought her out because of her reputation and regardless of her demeanor and quirks.
@@ShadowRaccoon54 I'm just saying she's still looks creepy
@@slycooper4506 I think that's the point. But she's also unique in that aspect. There aren't any other characters in the games based on bugs or arachnids.
panda king is definitely an interesting discussion. guess sucker punch needed a way to bring him into the story again somehow.
Here’s how I break it down:
Clockwerk did the final blow on Sly’s parents. I’m sure he wouldn’t let anyone else have the satisfaction. And at the end of the day, he’s the only fiendish five member we effectively destroy outright.
Muggshot most likely busted himself out of jail. He certainly has the muscle and probably has the contacts to go into hiding. He left the U.S. and headed for Europe. Only an Interpol Agent like Carmelita would recognize him and have the “immediate” authority to arrest him. Besides, even if someone else recognized him, how do you even try to arrest “that thing”. Also, he has a crew to back him up, monitor the surroundings, and make his escapes. ACES also isn’t the most legal sporting event. They probably just invite the best of the best regardless of their criminal background.
The Panda King was probably let go early thanks to his criminal connections in the Chinese government, and by General Tso and his connections. Tso still respected the man and his family name, so seeing him rot in jail would make the name look weak, thus freeing him and having him take up meditation was a better option. Also, is “General” Tso an actual general?
Dimitri was found arrested in Venice, Italy. It was most likely a prison transport. But Venice is also a popular destination for Mediterranean cruise ships. He could have just did something to get locked up when his was docked there.
As for the rest, most villains are shown to have served their prison sentences and turn their life around in some way. (Maybe they still use some of the Contessa’s hypnotism techniques, eh? Lol). We are never told just how long each one spends time in jail, so it’s up to the imagination so you can decide what is fair.
The Death penalty is pretty severe for this universe, but legally they can only punish them for what they can prove, and we never SEE the vast majority of them kill anyone, besides LeFwee, and he’s shark food.
Well, that’s my thoughts. Let me know yours.
We should go to a new direction for the Sly Cooper Games because we should add a combat mechanic for Sly and the Gang and along with new adventures when we reboot Sly
Sly on PS5.... just imagine :O
Vivi listen man there's no loyalty in the criminal underworld there's always someone willing to talk and I have many connections.
This was a very interesting topic, Vivi!
To be fair Rashaan did get arrested again for smuggling.
Sig is one awesome character in the J&D series am I right? Phil LaMarr is awesome!
Yeah I'm not really sure how Panda king got out so early I have a suspicion though that general sao might have had a hand in it.
Why would General Tsao help Panda King get out of prison when he planned to force Jing King, PK's daughter, to marry him? Leaving PK in jail would've been better.
@@ShadowRaccoon54 I think Panda King's daughter wasn't hiding and only Panda King knew where she was maybe Panda King was being tracked by sao to lead him to where she was that's my own personal theory.
@@slycooper4506 Something Tsao said during his fight with Sly implies that Tsao made Panda King turn a blind eye while he kidnapped Jing King. Although I don't know how. Your theory is good because of the scene of the kidnapping that we see in the cutscene.
@@ShadowRaccoon54 I thought it was hilarious when Carmelita's surprised him at his wedding that shock pistol turn him to grilled chicken LOL🍗
@@slycooper4506 Second favorite part of that episode, first one being getting to kick the snot out of Tsao and watch him run away with his tail between his legs.
Well mugshot actually did break out and escaped from Heathrow prison.
How do all these villains keep on breaking out of Jail all the time?
@@jackbartholomaus6510 I don't know how...prison budget cuts I guess.?¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@slycooper4506 Or it could be just a bunch of corrupt security guards and Judges who don't know anything about justice.
@@jackbartholomaus6510 Maybe.
The only thing I can say about this is that this is a series meant for kids based around the wacky exploits of a raccoon thief that wears a cloth mask over his natural raccoon mask because that's the joke. The justice system isn't broken so much as being an afterthought. The story and lore were the main focus.
It's possible that Panda King got out from good behavior. Like you said, he practically let his daughter get kidnapped so he wouldn't cause trouble.
10:13 I also suspected that Dimitri was being transported as to why we found him in that Interpol HQ holding cell. I always thought it was weird how he wasn't locked up in a higher security prison instead since his arrest had been a year ago from Sly 3.
Um... Bentley is a year older than Sly. Murrey is a year older than Bentley.
Well this is very interesting when you think about it, when you mirror our world with Sly's Justice System, it's too hard to up with a conclusion. =P
It's easy for a criminal to have a control over certain parts of the Justice System, especially if it's already corrupted and working with and/or for the criminal.
Ah yes, I missed your video so much, what a nice pleasure to dive into them again 😁
Interesting topic, even if the franchise is old, there are always things to talk about, little details, ....
Actually on the question of "why everyone got release so quickly from jail", I was thinking about evading. After all they are all criminals and know every little "tips and tricks" to make a plan, evade prison and restart a life with an "other" identity, ....
+ maybe because it's the Sly Cooper world, prison sentence are not the same, Interpol have different "rules" (possibility to arrest people, ....)
As for Dimitri, he just do his little "things" on his side, trying to not have the police on his back, again its a "criminal" so he knows what to do for not having them
As always good subject and video editing 👌
Thank Nat!!!
Rajan: from drug dealer, to rug dealer. Sounds like a good mini documentary.
Interesting Sly topic , and well the game is intending to be cartoony but hey it always nice to learn about the world in Sly
At 9:34 is that Otto Von Cooper under Raleigh's cell?
I'm curious about those mystery baddies....
Yay another upload
Yay!
It’s possible that the Panda King could’ve been released for good behavior, my question is why are there no other cops after Sly? Was Carmelita put on the case or did she ask for the job? Also and this is a little off topic but if or when the Sly Cooper series eventually happens should they change Carmelita’s voice actor every episode or every season?
THIS is why I want the series to dive deeper into Carmelita's story, why ONLY her after Sly?
@@VtnVivi When you think about it, it could be the attraction they have for each other, especially on Carmelite's end.
That and maybe Carmelite personally asks for all cases dealing with Sly, adding on how she has the most experience/encounters with them.
But, that could just be a wall, to disguise the fact that, if anyone with an extreme means went after Sly, Carmelite thinks they could catch him or else kill him.
Or maybe nobody in interpol has ever succeeded in catching Sly and the Gang, so maybe that's why she always takes it or, they dump it on her, but I would go with the first.
Hopefully in the next game, interpol decides to get someone else to find Sly and then suspends Carmelite for helping him in the 4th game.
That would play a huge impact on her character development, getting removed from the life that's she's ever known.
Carmelia probably asked to take on Sly's "case"
Happy Mar10 Day, VIVI!
0:29 they look sooo cute :c
Here's a thought: Maybe they all got the death penalty for every crime they committed, but they kept respawning afterwards, (because video games.) They could strap them to crazy killing contraptions and execute them over and over again. The time spent in jail would be much shorter, but also much harsher.
And yeah, them getting out of jail so fast was something I've noticed from the start, and it never felt right. Especially when they went on to lead normal happy lives, as if their years of criminal activity did nothing to destroy their reputations.
I give up no sly 5😭😭😭😭😭
I feel that there's something that you maybe missing from the crime of the death of Sly's parents. That crime stated back when Sly was just a young kid, Sly gets 4 of the Fiendish 5 arrested and one killed when he's a young adult. They were never questioned about that night since they got away with that crime and gone their separate ways. If you recall one of the most unsolved crimes, the case of Jack and Ripper, nobody was able to stop the guy and got away with the crime, yet people some people decades later would either close the case or try to figure it out. The Fiendish 5 from what I can bet didn't leave any sort of clues or evidence behind for Interpol to gather and research. The only evidence was from Sly Cooper himself as he was a victim who witness the crime yet it's not mentioned if Sly was found by Interpol and interrogated on the scene of the crime before being sent to an orphanage home.
As for the case of the Panda King's short lived sentencing, I bet his daughter Jin King was horrified from her father's actions and being arrested that she probably toke things into court and plea for her father's release. It was pretty clear after Sly beaten him the first time around, the Panda King had to reflect on his own actions while locked up behind bars and his daughter's reaction towards him. It's likely that in court Jin King had stand along side her father and made him promise never to do such a crime ever again. I'm not 100% sure how the Law and Order system works in different countries, but it's common that if you commit a crime you're arrested and maybe released.
Granted we all know this is just for show and that this franchise acts like a cartoon or some sort yet while being realistic in many degree. Try to think of it as the Batman the Animated series but with Thieves and different takes on crimes and sentencing of a video game franchise.
If a case like Sly's childhood trauma would have happen in irl France, the Fiendish Five would have easily got +40 years to life sentence over everything what happen during that night, if they would have been caught. They would have most likely been found guilty for: illegal entry to the country, possession of fraudulent ID ( if they used fake IDs to enter the country to do it ), criminal association, home invasion, double premeditated murder and theft. That is, IF they would have been caught and tried for their crimes, in France, and the crimes did not expire by the time they would face trial.
I always just figured Panda King escaped prison at some point. Same with Mugshot.
If that were the case, then Carmelita would've made a remark no?
O anime das aventuras de Benjamim, Amy e Nicole Cooper
I'd like to think that spider lady broke some of them out of prison when they bribed her.
I know, doesn't make sense but i like simple answers.
I appreciate the sly cooper content an jak an daxter
The murder of Sly's parents could have been ''unsolved'' as the only witness they had, was a traumatized child.
You’re definitely going over a lot of things to do with sly 1 am I right? It basically was the only game where all the villains got arrested except clockwork am I right? Lol
Meanwhile in Donald Duck comics: Beagle Boys are throw into prison for 800 000th attempt to rob Scrooge's Money Bin and are released 2 weeks later for good behaviour.

WELL IS Just a theory a game theory
You know thinking about the series something has been bugging me, anyone else think there might be a connection to Clockwerk's hate chip and the mask of dark earth? Seriously think about it, both are ancient artificial objects that empower their wearers and feed off their negative emotions.
Dark magic is certainly an interesting theme in this game. You and me both...
Maybe sly's mom covered up her husband's death
Interesting
I do always wonder about Sly's mom...
She's dead. The Fiendish Five killed both of Sly's parents.
@@ShadowRaccoon54 sly made it seem That only his dad died. I hope sly 5 introduces us to his mom
@@renamon5658 No, both his parents died. He even says so in the introduction cutscene of Sly 2 when he says "He caught up with my *parents* and I wound up in an orphanage.", implying both his parents were killed. And in the intro cutscene of the first game, Sly says "My father fought to protect *us*..." It's a common trope in media for a character to be closer to their parent the same gender as the main character, that's why we never hear anything about Sly's mom. And I highly doubt we ever will.
The Panda King is really Awesome in The Sly Cooper Games
I love his character!
yoooo that thumbnail though 👀👀
Yeah some of the criminals at the end of the games are not in jail after a year or two and doing something
Ok so real question is how does the law in sly cooper works?

@@VtnVivi No problem!
Mabye General Zao bailed him out of jail
It's implied that the Panda King was present in the murder of Sly's parents but judging from the shadow of an arm holding Sly's dad Connor Cooper I believe that was Muggshot so I believe from what I think that Sir Raleigh, Muggshot, Mz Ruby and Clockwerk are the ones who murdered Sly's parents while the Panda King did the ransacking of Sly's home so technically I would say that Sir Raleigh, Muggshot, Mz Ruby and Clockwerk will all be charged with burglary, trespassing and First-degree murder of Connor Cooper and Mrs. Cooper while the Panda King will be charged with burglary and trespassing only. So if Carmelita reopened the case file against Sir Raleigh, Muggshot, Mz Ruby and the Panda King excluding Clockwerk who is already dead I believe that Sir Raleigh, Muggshot and Mz Ruby's sentences while be changed to the death penalty while the Panda King's trial would be completely different in light of the evidence against the Panda King and his sentence would just be Life Imprisonment with the Possibility of Parole but in that case if he wants to go back to China he needs special permission because in the country he was imprisoned he cannot leave the country during his parole. To make this realistic the crimes the Panda King committed: Suspected of Murder of Sly's parents, Burglary, Burying Villages in the Snow and Blowing Up Residences the Burying Villages and Blowing Up Residences charges he might also be charged with manslaughter if there were evidence of people occupied in those villages he buried and residences he blew up but in the charge of suspected murder of Sly's parents there's would be a lack of evidence against him linking to the murder of Sly's parents but with strong evidence of Burglary, Burying Villages in the Snow and Blowing Up Residences not to mention being charged with manslaughter his sentence would be 25 years in Heathrow Federal Penitentiary with the possibility of parole after 5 years or 3 years if he shows regret for what he did. If he's gotten parole, once again the Panda King needs permission to go to China because while on parole he cannot leave the country he's being imprisoned. I'll bet that later on in the end of Sly 3 he continues his parole until he's exonerated or pardoned by the French and Chinese government.
Nice break down! Do you feel Panda felt bad when breaking into that house, knowing that he has a kid of his own?
@@VtnVivi In my case he start to realize the error of his ways. I don't know how or when the Panda King will realize the error of his ways.
@@VtnVivi Also I have another theory of the Panda King. I believe after he was arrested by Interpol he struck a deal. In exchange for a lesser prison sentence he testifies against Sir Raleigh, Muggshot and Mz. Ruby.
Tbh I think Sly & Jak needs to do another collab game together or something. Like promote each other like the old days. Anybody remember Jak 2 with Rachet & clank easter eggs? They need to return that, I think it'd help both games make a great come back. Anyways thanks for another vid vivi!
No problem!
Hopefully there's going to be another Sly Cooper game
I said in a previous Sly Cooper video that if there is a 5th and final Sly Cooper game, this is my idea for the plot: Bently, Murray, and Carmelita get a scientist owl to help rebuild a time machine to send them back in time to rescue Sly by using his DNA to track him. But once they find him they only come forward in time only a little at a time, and every time they stop they encounter another Cooper member that they have to help out. By the 5th or 6th level, we finally have Sly meet his father, but since Sly knows his father has to die, he is conflicted on whether or not to try to save him or let him die again. Meanwhile, the owl scientist who helps rescue Sly gets injured through these adventures with the Cooper Gang and he builds a robot body for himself, which we later find out is Clockwork. At the end of the game, Sly and the rest of the gang make it back to the future, but Clockwork steals the time machine, goes back in time, and he gets revenge on what happened to him by making it his life's work to go after the Cooper family. So, through this 5th and final game, the story comes full circle as Sly inadvertently created his family's mortal enemy in the form of a bootstrap paradox. And the game ends with Sly and Carmelita finally getting together as a couple with Sly ending his life as a thief so he can have a family with Carmelita.
Tell me about it!
Sly faked amnesia and soon afterwards entered into a serious and public relationship with the inspector who was chasing him. All of this while dancing tango at high society parties quite possibly attended by high-ranking interpol officers. How is this possible?
Carmelita needs more story....how was she able to keep all this a secret?
I'm surprised that MC Cooper, Texan Bentley and Goth Murray weren't costumes in Sly 4.
Two things, VIVI:
One: his girl's name is Jing King, right?
And two, what's the only thing you should worry about first if you were gonna dating a girl?
I’d love a new Sky Cooper game for the Ps5. Imagine the graphics and quality that game could be! and the story would be amazing! We can only hope for now :))

I KNOW O_O
Or.... My version: Sly is going to get to the top of The Pyramid Of Time from inside, and he succeeded so he can go Back to The Paris where Bentley and Murray are waiting them. Then Bentley reads from newspaper that Bryner Noggin was actually behind all of Clockwerk and Le Paradox Scheme. His granddad catched that special owl who hated Coopers. So Bryner's granddad builded Clockwerk and he went inside so BOOM! Non-organic Clockwerk was born in that time. So Bryner's granddad went back in time to kill Coopers because he also hated Coopers. Bryner searched members and his plan to make Clockwerk living again because that Clock-la-Scheme because he wants to continue his granddad's legacy. So Cooper Gang is gonna sabotage those Bryner's gang members plans to make sure that Clockwerk will not be alive again. Sorry for my bad english, I'm Finnish.

how did muggshot get out of jail so quickly? if he was in the sly 3 prequel comic, then flight of fancy straight afterwards. you get what I'm saying? lol

Game Theory: How Sly Cooper's Justice Sysem is BROKEN!
Why haven't any of these Sly Cooper villains that have no chance at redemption, been sentenced to Death yet?
Too dark I guess?
@@VtnVivi But don't you agree that some of the Bad guys of the Sly cooper franchise just don't deserve to live?
This being a cartoon universe full of talking animal people aside.
In the case of the murder of Sly's parents they may simply not have enough evidence to convict anyone of that crime, even if all members of the Fiendish Five (Minus Clockwerk obviously) admitted to it. Add in the fact that Sly's parents were thieves themselves and they may simply not be enough people that care enough to pursue it.
As for the Panda King specifically. I always assumed that once custody of him moved from Carmelita to someone else he was just quietly released, mainly due to corruption within the Chinese government and the fact he had plenty of political power himself. If the Panda King did not have any political power himself then General Tso wouldn't have wanted to marry his daughter. Interpol still has to follow the laws of its member countries and cannot legally operate in non-member countries. So if the Chinese Government in Sly Cooper went "Upon investigation we found that the so called "Panda King" could not be connected to any wrong doing and will be released" there's nothing Interpol could legally do about it. If prosecutors in other countries believed they had a case against the Panda King for crimes committed within their countries, then they could request the Chinese Government to extradite him, but the Chinese Government would most likely just go "No" and that'd be the end of that.
In both cases it just shows that not every member of law enforcement is like Carmelita, wanting to punish every lawbreaker to the fullest extent of the law.
But this is a cartoon universe full of talking animal people and I don't think they'll ever go that deep. Also I am no legal expert, I probably got a good bit of this wrong.
Awesome breakdown!
I'm pretty sure pk was on early parol for good behavior and has custody. Jing king could have been 12 years old and he was 35 maybe. Here's my fanfic idea, sly gives last blow and Jing king sees sly sly sees her he knocks him out tells her he'll come through and leave soon. But pk tells jk it'll be alright she will live with pk's sister. As for the sequel villians that's another topic but sly let's 4 of 5 spared findish 5 live.
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks Jing King is 15 during Sly 3. Which only makes the creep factor on General Tsao that much worse.
@@ShadowRaccoon54 tsao was traditionally strict of his culture.

Something I’ve realised about the jak and Daxter series, jak and Ashleyn were cousins the whole time. Yet they kissed at the end of 3. At least that’s what we think given the look Daxter gives us after the final battle. Do you agree too?
@@isatherebel1520 good point I kind of thought Jak and Ashelyn were around the same age lol
Daxter gave the audience the look as a confirmation that they kissed, not because they cousins, Jak is Damas' son, and in reality a lot younger than Ashelin, and she is Praxis' daughter
@@BrennySpain Nah they not exactly close in age, she was about 22 in Jak II, Jak was a baby but older Jak was 17

Not as broken as the GTA one. This is damn slap on the wrist. In gta you get set free after a killing spree in the streets.
