Goodness knows what might be discovered!
Plus now is a good opportunity to clean out the river, plus even make room for deep pools to retain water longer

Nero lined the roads in all directions from Rome, covered the bodies of Christians with tar, impaled them on stakes and lit them on fire, thousands of them. Drought, heat, floods, earthquakes, destruction and death the world over. The days that try mens souls, accept today the call of our Creator turn from you hardness of heart repent of your sin of rejecting his offer of salvation through his Son Jesus Christ!!!!

China too........has an ancient bridge...made of stone slabs. Crosses there river. Now mostly far under the water...especially these days of flood. However.....there are times the river runs very low....and it can again be seen.

It's funny hearing about all these heat waves when we've had the coolest June in Boston I can remember. Still haven't installed my AC yet, the latest ever. Unfortunately this long cool stretch is supposed to end this weekend.

@@rebeccaperry-piper2733 We had a high of 66 today, and it was sunny all day. Beautiful and fresh. 61 right now. Last year we had 8 days in the 90's by now, but none this year. Not even close. It's ending this weekend though. Im installing the AC on Friday.

Excellent time to clean the garbage sitting on the bottom.......in the past. Such occurrences were taken advantage of in the past....and occasionally some ancient objects or even old buildings or shipwrecks are discovered. Fish...concentrate in deep pools...making fishing easier.

The creeks would run low....and the Indians would make fish traps. A series of diversions by stones or sticks...penning the fish to deep pools. Catfish were prime eating...and General hard to capture. The big ones...were the breeders. They were spared...they netted or caught the smaller ones.....they tasted better anyway. All in balance with what that creek could provide...it worked 24/7 and could be used...when ever the river..creek ran low. They gave thanks. On the coasts.....there the Indians too......took advantage of the tides. Building a series of semi circles out of stone....maybe a foot or two high. As the tide would go out...this would trap fish....making them easier to catch....and it filled up...and out every tide. Clever.

Less than 50 per cent of the population in India has access to safely managed drinking water. Chemical contamination of water, mainly through fluoride and arsenic, is present in 1.96 million dwellings.- (UNICEF)
Sad. India is a Failed State. ☹☹
