I wish I could read , watch and enjoy the Harry Potter books and movies just like the first time.... all that excitement and emotions of finding a new fictional world where every kid wanted to run away to. I miss those days when HP, Narnia was all that we discussed with friends and watch the same movies on weekends. Whenever my local newspaper or a magazine mentioned HP , I would cut out the article and store them and I still think I have them somewhere in my home. Now I am an adult with a job , but I would do anything to go to Hogwarts !

I miss going to the cinema as a kid being all hyped about the new Harry Potter movies. Harry Potter 1 came out in 2001 btw, 20 years ago now.
Lately though they’ve been playing every Harry Potter movie on either freeform, USA, tbs & even tbt 😏I’m glad they’re playing them every now & then
@@JaiTheMoB Yeah, nothing like the magic feeling you had watching the new HP movie for the first time at the cinema though. Especially the first three who has a different vibe. Was like magic. The series got more mature after the 4th one, it was like growing up along with the movies.

POV:
Christmas break has just begun. You're sitting in bed in your dormitory in Ravenclaw tower with the curtains pulled back from around your bed so you can watch the snow swirling outside. On the bedside table next to you is a plate of toast and bacon you got from the Great Hall earlier before coming back up to bed. In the middle of the dormitory is a record player you made work using magic playing soft classical music. You have your newest book, a birthday present sent from your muggle family at home, and your cat is sitting on your feet. You flick your wand and magic snow starts falling lightly around your bed, mimicking the flakes outside. You are at Hogwarts and life is good.

Kazakhstan, the early 2000s, my middle school time. My classmate used to buy books first, and then all my classmates asked her to pass the book after she done reading. I remember how I was second in line to read HP and the Order of the Phoenix; did it in a week, reading all the time, even during classes. One of the best moments of my childhood. Big thanks to my classmate for sharing the book and introducing me to that world.

If I close my eyes, I can easily visualize myself arriving at the great dining room, wearing my green scarf, sitting at one of those chairs, with all those candles lighting the room. Albus Dumbledore is standing in front of everyone introducing our new Defense Against Dark Arts' professor. Malfoy still hates the golden trio, but I have to admit, as his housemate: that hate is very simillar to some kind of admiration.

Nothing sounds more like home. Harry Potter movies and books are my childhood and I feel safe every time I hear this music. It´s bittersweet how fast the time goes and everything change but Harry staying. I´m eternally grateful for this epic story which taught me things about love, friendship, family, staying strong, find my place in the world even help me found out what I want to do as a grown up.
Just watched all Potter movies back to back. Its so bloody tough to get over once it finishes. Nothing...I repeat nothing comes close to the potter universe. This music transports me to another dimension altogether

I did it as well. It's a really odd feeling you get after you finish a long running series. Another one that's great is Lord of the Rings, which in my opinion is the greatest trilogy of all time.

I remember when re-reading the books a few years ago, they described how extremely cold it got between the corridors inside Hogwarts during winter. Makes you want to pull your house robes and scarf on a little tighter just thinking about it.

I remember when I was 9/10, my mum had bought me a pack of Harry Potter cards. I opened the deck and right on top was a shiny Harry riding his FireBolt broomstick. I loved that card. I absolutely miss those days.

Thank you for making this. I played this for my dog while she was sick and when she passed. She loved hiking in her earlier years and was the best girl ever. This helped her relax and sleep. I played it for her a lot when she could no longer get out into the woods. It was the only soundscape she really liked. It helped both of us very much. Thank you.

One thing we all agree is that , there will never be another Hogwarts , another Harry potter , another Hermione ,another Ron, Draco , Neville , Luna , Ginny, Fred , George , and everyone , moreover watching their reunion had me in tears, ohhh and not to mention another Prof. Snape
In the Wizarding World, its technically impossible to know about wizards unless you have wizard relatives I guess (like harry) so in other words, if the wizarding world was real, we would never know about it anyway so technically it could be real.

Harry potter just has something about it that draws you in. It was such a huge part of my childhood and got me through some very rough times. Just feel happy when I listen to this. Probably the ONLY series I can watch/read over and over and over and NEVER get sick of it.
I imagine walking around the grounds of Hogwarts on a blustery autumn day, fallen leaves blowing around the courtyards and the early sense of a wintery chill in the air kept at bay by my thick Hufflepuff scarf wrapped around my neck. I stop and take in my surroundings; Hogwarts, my home, my happy place. The place where I finally fit in; where all my oddities, quirks and supposed unusual behaviour is not only accepted but welcomed. Hogwarts really is always there to welcome us home. Now I'm off to the Hufflepuff common room for a big hot chocolate next to the crackling fire before finishing off my herbology homework 🧙♂️🔮⚡

The Wizarding world is literally magical.
Listening to this now, I see how the reunion missed an opportunity. It would have been wonderful to interview the composers of these beautiful pieces. All of us are touched by this music in some way.
First 3 films were composed by the legendary John Williams. Those composers who followed him used a significant amount of his scores.
The fact that when we hear each song we know exactly which movie they were in. Incredible ❤️

For 21 years, HP has been a BIG part of my life. I fell in love with Severus/Alan the moment i saw him on DVD in Dec 2002. And have loved him ever since. What captured my heart was the soundtrack. The movies have some beautiful music.
Harry potter was an escape for me when I was young, I felt like harry. Hermione and Ron were my best friends as I grew with them. I remember seeing the last movie in theaters thinking This is it this is the end of an era. And in fact it was I cried when I realised it was the last year we would spend together. I really miss these times I really do. Now I can't pull myself together listening to this I feel transported back into this magical world. I will go to universal studio one day listening to this and I will once again feel home.
The wizardry and magic is just a backdrop for basically the greatest coming of age high school story ever told.
At least that's how I see it.

the hp book series was the first series i ever read, at about the age of 8. i remember spending all of my time completely immersed in each page. now, i wish with all of my heart that i could go back to that time, when i was waiting for my own hogwart's letter through the letterbox, and played with my wooden wand all evening with complete conviction

I swear, John Williams can compose a theme unlike any other composer on the planet - so simple and yet breathtaking and elegant at the same time.
The Home Alone theme music is similar but better. Almost sounds like this theme ripped it off a decade after Home Alone.

It was the year 2001 and I clearly remembered the excitement the film brought at home, at school and at work. It was like we were all kids again. In reality when you like something that is for a certain age does not mean it is inappropriate for older ages, it is a state of mind. Dreaming, imagining a different reality is what makes us so different; creative, daring and dreamers. JK Rowling dreamed and her dream made others dream too...thank you for this video, it is lovely!
