Gloomy attitude bro, you could honestly use some good times hanging out with the "hippies" We at least know how to be kind, have peace of mind, and have a good time. Have fun being "normal" or in other words keep boring

Not as bad as America is nowadays. I rather live in Glastonbury. It may have downsides from time to time but it is probably A LOT better then what we go through here in America. :(

People have been "dropping out" in Glastonbury since the 1960s!

I don’t live there, but I’ve been going there regularly for ten years and I’ve never had or seen any bother at night. If there is, then it’s no different from similar sized rural towns throughout the uk

We have been to Glastonbury several times over the last 5 years and decided Haloween seemed a good time to go again (Samhain if you prefer), so we booked 2 nights B&B, what a let down, after the shops shut and the "newbie new agers" and trinket shoppers have gone the drunks and druggies invade, one pub had 5 bouncers in by 7pm, we felt very intimidated, then we wanted to eat....pizza or pizza? The High street shops are over priced and its all theatrical, we buy cheaper online, and we have "new age/faerie" shops near us that are cheaper. Visit the Abbey and the Tor, and Chalice well gardens by all means but as for the town?......nah

+baldandold Sorry to hear that, I expect all these things go in cycles and it may become cool again or another area may suface as a meeting point for newager types.

Do you not think the place operates on about 3 levels, the wannabbe wiccans with money, the bottom element sat on benches with super strong lager and the fake new age brigade, down for the weekend....

+baldandold Oh thats a shame - I had a great time there but - we only went for 1 day and then off to woken hole - which was a huge disapointment. I agree about the food though - we went into the hotel/restaurant and they forgot we had ordered anything - anyway an hour (honestly) later the woman after being reminded we had ordered food bought out 3 of the most dry ass burgers. My daughter had to swallow water with it!! I think they had left them in the oven!! I could not be assed to wait for them to cook again though so we did what we could and left.

Wokey hole is a money pit for visitors, all tied up to Madame tassauds as a visitor attraction, £60 for a ticket....shame

Allot of new age types take drugs, as do i, just got to watch out in the evenings, there are strange pople in all places :), sadly lots of rich pompous people seem to come to the town which causes shops prices to rise...

I didn’t find your attitude gloomy at all. Enjoyed your vid, I visit Glasto at least once a year, England needs more towns like it.

Not keen on the reference regarding Glastonbury as drop outs. I have been to Glastonbury many times and, consider the town to be Creative. The locals are a warm eco friendly bunch and crime is very minimal.
