" Even now - this is the LORD's declaration - turn to ME with all your heart..." Joel 2:12
This has always been one of my all time favorite Hymns. I have played it Hundreds of times for Funerals Services that I had the honor to reside as Organist.
I start the Hymn in G Major and on the last verse, elevate to A Flat Major and couple the Swell to the Great and add a Bombarde Pedal. I play the last Refrain again with the words posted.
1. I've wandered far away from God,
Now I'm coming home;
The paths of sin too long I've trod,
Lord, I'm coming home.
REFRAIN:
Coming home, coming home,
Nevermore to roam,
Open wide Thine arms of love,
Lord, I'm coming home.
2. I've wasted many precious years,
Now I'm coming home;
I now repent with bitter tears,
Lord, I'm coming home. [ REFRAIN ]
3. I've tired of sin and straying, Lord,
Now I'm coming home;
I'll trust Thy love, believe Thy word,
Lord, I'm coming home. [ REFRAIN ]
4. My soul is sick, my heart is sore,
Now I'm coming home;
My strength renew, my hope restore,
Lord, I'm coming home. [ REFRAIN ]

. This beautiful Hymn is in all Hymnals and is free domain. Sorry - I am tall and have big feet so I often play bared footed with this small Organ to prevent hitting 2 pedals at the same time....
Lance thank you so very much for allowing The Lord to use you to bless us with your beautiful playing of this beautiful hymn which you play so tenderly and with such compassion. As I listened to your beautiful playing of this beautiful hymn it took me (via memories) back to January of 1974 when I followed The Lord in Baptism after completely surrendering my heart and life to The Lord and knowing for sure that I was SAVED AND READY FOR HEAVEN. If I remember correctly I think we sung this hymn the night I got Baptized.
