Remembering Sayeed Hasan Khan

ڈھونڈوگے اگر ملکوں ملکوں
ملنے کے نہیں نایاب ہیں ہم
Sayeed Hasan Khan (1930-2022) was a globe-trotting intellectual, historian, columnist, author and a veteran leftist. an acknowledged peace activist, he was a living encyclopedia of South Asian history and politics. Partition of India was a subject of his particular interest. He had friends all over the world and they included influential figures - politicians, bureaucrats, writers, academics, artists, philosophers, historuans, journalists etc. He lived minimally and left an indelible mark on everyone he met and befriended.
