- In this "How To" episode, Kyle goes over the basics of how to SAFELY and effectively operate a Semi Automatic Shotgun. A semi automatic shotgun is more effectively used for smaller game that would require quick reloading speed. Examples of situations that would make a semi automatic shotgun useful would be Rabbit, Duck, upland bird, Pheasant and many other small game hunting excursions.
- Safety should ALWAYS be your number one priority.
-ALWAYS remember to wear the proper safety equipment and use proper firearm handling techniques.

I haven't shot my Browning auto in 30 years. Had it tuned up and brought it home, and thought, Hmmmm. "How do I load it and unload it?" Thanks, kid, for the refresher course. Best one out there.
It's been so long since I shot it, I forgot how to do the simple things lol. Thanks for the refresher course sir...
Great introduction on loading and unloading.
Thank you for the info, much appreciated
Clear instructions. Well done.

Great video, thanks!
My mossberg 930 spx tactical holds 8+1
Thanks for your video, let's say I pulled the bolt without any shells inside, and I want to uncock the bolt, how do I do that?
We recommend you reference your firearm's user manual to see what is best/safest for your gun.
Typically there is a release/button on the side of the firearm, or near the trigger guard.
However, when the firearm is not in use the chamber should remain open for safety purposes.
*ALWAYS make sure you're following the proper safety techniques when handling your firearm.*
How well will the little 20 guage Hatfield cycle reduced recoil loads? Serious neck injury and 3 surgeries caused me to have to give up clay and wingshooting 9 years ago, but I'm wanting to start back shotgunning with my kids a little this year. I added some weight and various recoil pads to some of my O/Us in both my 12s and 20s and even shot low recoil shells. Unfortunately after a half a dozen shots I still could feel some uncomfortable pinching in my neck from the hardware that was placed in it. I'm thinking a gas operated 20 that will cycle reduced recoil shells might let me sit on the dove field for a few rounds before things get too uncomfortable.
Might have to pass on the torch.
Good tutorial Kyle
Thank you!
Why is that 3 shot limitation when shooting waterfowl?
So you have to take time to reload otherwise you take down too many at a time.we're not looking to make wildlife extinct here jack
0:38 My pet bird is called sky, ima not point it at her 😂😂😂😂
What you mean 3 rounds?
Lol that's some silly shit. I have 8 in my 1100. Assuming I don't go with 1 3/4" shells.
The only thing I use my Remington 1100 for, is home defense.
An invader gets one warning shot, which is a blank, the second shot is #8 birdshot, the third round (the first one in the tube) is 00 Buck. So are the rest.
You can only have 3 rounds and a plug in your gun for hunting. Self defense is a completely different case for sure!
@@TheGreenWayOutdoors -- For waterfowl hunting. If you are hunting four-legged game there is no limit.
Nice video, but next time stand in the sunlight; being in the shade makes it difficult to see what you are doing.
gimme a break.
Lol 3 shells? That's pathetic
Hey Thndr_ ,
We're curious as to what is pathetic about this? Can you tell us why you think that?
It's for hunting. It's not a gun you would use for anything other than sport.
It’s law for duck hunting 💀 is every gun for self defense?💀
@@Bigsativa what's the reason for it tho make no sense i am saying yes
@@thndr_5468 well you’re wrong not ever gun is made for self defense, they will all work for it but some better than others, and the reason for it is so you don’t pollute as much with the bullets (lead shot)
Improper unload!!!!! never unload by chambering a round that is the most dangerous thing you could do
Then how would you do it?
