I review the ROSESELSA RS9039 DAC/AMP sent to me by HiFiGO. The marketing for this device promised amazing specifications, in certain ways. Does it live up to the hype or is it just another bogus product?

Wouldn't an RMS multimeter be good enough to measure a voltage across a 14 ohm resistor coming from a dac whose input is a 0 dBFS signal at a suitable frequency?

Pula uses cheap drivers and gets a good result, but if you crank it, it becomes audible at times..

avoid Conexant, go with cirrus logic or realtek. Dac is not everything but I've tried 3 cs dacs and I have a couple realtek and they were all implemented just fine, they sound transparent. I've read conexant chips have a high noise floor and ESS is a bit expensive.

i have 3 small-type dongles and i hate them. its so akward to use and i feel like its going to disconnect and fall off all the time no matter which phone or dongle i pair.
maybe its better use for laptops but i just dislike the form of connection they rely on.
also after using apple dongle, graveaudio da6 and sonata hd, i have to say they all sound neutral but apple has very low volume in output on android somehow.
