STORY:
It all began with the family moving in the white house across the street, when Dean was four. His mummy said there's a boy in Dean's age, and of course, Dean was excited to meet him. When Jimmy Novak opened the door and invited them in, introducing Cas, his son, to Dean, a long and intense friendship began to bloom.
They spent the next 14 years together as best friends, sharing jokes and music and words and everything, until it all went downhill. Along with Castiel's scholarship to cambridge came the crash and burn of the boys confessing and denying feelings to each other. Nine years later, they meet again. At Jimmy's funeral. Cas doesn't want to do anything with Dean, not after what has happened. But one night, he watches Dean sing in the Roadhouse and he decides to give him a second chance.
And thus begins a journey of forgiving, healing, grieving and redeeming.

Are you kidding me?! Ben Howard?! 🙏💙🖤 The editing style makes for a bittersweet dreamscape, it makes me happy and breaks my heart all at the same time. You made an art film to appease the longing we still feel. If only the writers had been more brave. If only Supernatural had gotten one or two more seasons, we probably would have seen Destiel come to life in words actions and everything, unequivocably and undeniably. Because love is love and these two have always been one, and they were always about love.
