The top news is great! Passenger boards owning tracks will likely help them improve service on them.
The IRM one is correct. How we have fallen.
What irm one?
How did you get the irm one?
When I first saw the idea of a Class 60 being converted into a weird modern steam thingy, my initial reaction was similar to that complete and utter abomination of an AC6000CW on the Aberdeen, Carolina and Western.
Another amazing periodical!
As usual, I found this video quite informative! I didn't know, for example, that those Norfolk Southern corridors have been purchased. I'm looking forward to seeing how the VPRA and CATS's new lines are used.
Thanks for the video!
Here in Chicago they are voting on consolidating ALL commuter lines, Metra, CTA…🤔( PF19… great periodical as always!)
love the stuff coming to NC I just wish greenville nc could get passenger rail
There haven’t been any special paint NS C6Ms since the Sonicbonnets, so I’m more than happy we now have 4822.
As a montrealer I must say: BING CHILLING!
hello fellow montrealer.
June has been interesting when it came to railroads.
4:41 Ah yes. That one article you mentioned in the Discord server.
4:58 That P&LE heritage unit actually looks amazing.
5:03 DAMMIT!
5:40 Knockoff Metrolink cab cars be like.
5:47 Word of advice: DAILY DRIVER IDIOTS HAVE SHOULD HAVE NO SAY IN TRANSIT MATTERS!!!
7:08 Best transit news of the month.
7:23 Wait. Isn’t that the article I mentioned on the discord server?
7:35 I’m sorry, but that livery is just… UGLY!!!!
7:40 Knockoff Wabash livery in a nutshell.
8:24 Wow! These activities sound very fun! I cannot wait to go to the IRM and do those fun things!
8:35 Wait! Could you please repeat that?
Unfortunately, car drivers has more voters than commuters, so go figure.
I can imagine the memes. On gates and the reactor build.
First time there is problem. "Please turn off and and restart your reactor" and the le scram button will likely be labeled something like "launch reaction"
Random SEPTA question: What are your favorite regional rail on both sides(PRR and Reading)?
PRR is Paoli/Thorndale Line, and Reading is West Trenton Line.
@@Pensyfan19 What about your favorite Metrolink LA line?
@@brendanu1680 San Bernardino line
Thanks for posting! I am unclear on the monomer spill. Did they initially test and conclude polymerization began (or something rendering it safe) and it was therefore safe to do a certain type of release, which in retrospect should not have been done (knowing now the true monomer test results)?
Yes and no. Initial temperature reads showed that the monomers were reaching or had reached a temperature that would cause polymerization. I couldn’t find anything about testing the during the fire, as if they did then the results would not have lined up with their (now incorrect) data.
@@Pensyfan19 Thanks. I don' t know, but at the time I felt the burn-off was premature and a bad option, just on a gut level.
9:30 mabye to get cheap locomotives they can get the ex amtrak California f59phi locomotives and eventually rebuild them or just buy complattly new simens chargers but if they need stuff cheap buy ax amtrak f59phi's
So NS car men were at fault, ok. 2 people in a loco cab is enough, 3 if theres either an engineer in training or conductor or road foreman... so bad idea.
Another amazing periodical!
