    About This Series:
My plan is to summarize the entire message of the Quran, in 30 lessons.
As those of you who listen to my lectures are aware, my style is typically to go into quite a lot of detail. Most of my lectures would be classified as intermediate or advanced. However, this series will be very different.
I want to present the message of the Quran to those who have never really read the Quran before. The goal would be that after listening to this 45-minute lecture, they should then read the entire juz (para) themselves.
I want people to follow along with me, day by day, and recite that juz, and then read a translation of it, so that we complete the whole Quran this month. The goal of my lecture is to help them appreciate and contextualize what they are going to read. This is NOT a detailed, word by word, verse by verse, tafsīr. I've done that for quite a few Surahs, and if we ever did that for the entire Quran it would be over a thousand lectures at least!
Rather, this is an analytical summary - it is 'basic' in that I'm not going to go into academic details, but to prepare this 'basic' summary will require quite a lot of work (as those who know, know!).
Hafiz Sajjād joins me to recite a section of that juz (around ten minutes) so that we do get a taste of the beauty of the original as well.
I hope that this series will be of benefit, and that it will increase our love for this Divine Book! I ask Allah to bless me with sincerity and to guide me to what is best!

Surah Al Ahqaf (The Dunes), Surah Muhammad, Surah Al-Fath (The victory), Surah Al-Hujurat. (The Inner Appartments), Surah Qaf (The Letter Qaaf), Surah Adh-Dhariyat. (The Winnowing Winds).
    Surah Al Ahqaf (The Dunes).
    • Last of the havameem.
    • Sand dunes .people of Aad.
    • They lived in Empty quarter of Arabia
    • Main theme is the power and miracle of Quran. Magnificence of Allah.
    • Prophet ﷺ is not only a human but also is the final of a series of long chain of prophets.v.9. Say, "I am not something original among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner."
    • Key passage which gives the example of goodness towards parents v.15. And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months. [He grows] until, when he reaches maturity and reaches [the age of] forty years, he says, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims."
    • A beautiful du’a.
    • Those who don't respect his parents, disbelieve in Allah.V.17. But one who says to his parents, "Uff to you; do you promise me that I will be brought forth [from the earth] when generations before me have already passed on [into oblivion]?" while they call to Allah for help [and to their son], "Woe to you! Believe! Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth." But he says, "This is not but legends of the former peoples"
    • Some scholars say that this verse v.15 a praise to Abu bakr RA.
    • This verse also emphasize to take care of parents.
    • Ranks of jannah.V.19. And for all there are degrees [of reward and punishment] for what they have done, and [it is] so that He may fully compensate them for their deeds, and they will not be wronged.
    • Story of people of aad and Hud.
    • V.24. And when they saw it as a cloud approaching their valleys, they said, "This is a cloud bringing us rain!" Rather, it is that for which you were impatient: a wind, within it a painful punishment,
    • Sometimes something we think as a blessing could be a punishment.
    • Conversion of jinn.v.29. And [mention, O Muhammad], when We directed to you a few of the jinn, listening to the Quran. And when they attended it, they said, "Listen quietly." And when it was concluded, they went back to their people as warners.
    • Ends by reminding us to be patient like the ulul azmi mina rusul.v.35. So be patient, [O Muhammad], as were those of determination among the messengers and do not be impatient for them. It will be - on the Day they see that which they are promised - as though they had not remained [in the world] except an hour of a day. [This is] notification. And will [any] be destroyed except the defiantly disobedient people?
    Surah Muhammad.
    • Madani surah.
    • 38 verses.
    • V.1. Those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah - He will waste their deeds.
    • V.2. And those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down upon Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition.
    • This surah encourage to work for the sake of Allah in all aspects v.7. O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet.
    • V.11. That is because Allah is the protector of those who have believed and because the disbelievers have no protector.
    • Description of jannah.v.15. Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord... [Are its inhabitants] like those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?
    • Criticizing the hypocrites.v.24. Then do they not reflect upon the Quran, or are there locks upon [their] hearts?
    • Conclusion.v.38. Here you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allah - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away [i.e., refuse], He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you.
    • Allah is not demanding from us.
    • Allah will replace people.
    Surah Al-Fath (The victory)
    • It was revealed when the prophet ﷺ was on his way back from the treaty of hudaybiyyah in the 6th year of hijra.

    • Concludes by mentioning the Bedouins.v.17. They consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islam. Say, "Do not consider your Islam a favor to me. Rather, Allah has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you should be truthful."

Your belief that science explains everything; and the origin of life and the meaning of life and the purpose of life and life after death; it is more of a fairytale than anything you are accusing the religion of. You also have Imaan bil Ghayb. The only difference is we believe in the unseen based upon so many factors that tell us to believe in the unseen, whereas your belief in the unseen is based on nothing but uncertainty and doubt."

Muslim scholars say never stop asking Allaah, however, after sending 36 years asking Allaah and not having my dua accepted, I have decided to stop.

Even “no” is an answer. ALLAH knows why he doesn’t grant us some things we ask for because they may probably harm us or make us forget Him and trust me He probably answered you in away you don’t know. Ain’t you perhaps grateful for life??

@Neeta do you believe in Allah’s will ?? Then you should know that He willed for you not to get what you prayed for and His will is the best best because He knows our future. Then don’t stop believing in dua. Or else try waking up for Tahajjud
