It's also relate why his name is *Error Macro* for MK1 story. Because once Quan Chi magic was error, it make him lose control to Ermac. And when Jerrod's soul take control of Ermac, there is some error again to make him lose control to Ermac. Yes, it always has *error macro* to those who controlling Ermac.

And on top of that, there’s 24:20. It’s like Liu Kang’s line reflects the devs reaction to said glitch.
In a way his creation being due to a foreign timeline's incursion could be seen as a glitch.

It should be obvious by now, the Mortalk Kombat characters express their love and friendship to each other via brutal dismemberments and torture kills!
After all they always come back to life.

I’ve seen this happen to other channels or streamers. This happens to people who get early copies for reviews or were gifted them before release. It conflicts with licenses of the official product sometimes so they have to refresh it. It’s complicated.

I do wonder what Ermac's fascination with Raiden is. There's one line where he asks for Raiden specifically by name. Why was he searching for him? And then when they do have intros together it's mostly Raiden asking polite questions and giving reassurances
I like how Ermac is kinda like Dr Fate. He’s on the side of justice and good but not subjugating himself to an Empire but rather the realm itself
Eh, I'd say he's just kind of in it for himself. He's definitely not evil anymore, but he hasn't really done anything to prove himself as a hero either.

@@joannechoi8476 He wants to be left alone partially but also isn't opposed to stopping Shao's rebellion since he has so many souls fighting for control. Plus he tells Geras that if ever becomes corrupted again that he should kill him so that he can't harm anyone or be used as a weapon, so he isn't completely in it for himself.
@@antonywayne8487 That sounds like a true neutral to me; his primary concern is his own wellbeing. I wouldn't say any of that qualifies as "heroic"; per say. (not even as an anti-hero)
@@joannechoi8476 I don't really see how every soul in his body opposing evil forces like Quan Chi, Havic and General Khan, and actively wanting to avoid hurting others by falling into darkness again is a true neutral when it clearly leans towards the heroes, a true neutral would not care about half of the things Ermac actually does care about since he's made it clear he actually does take a side on some issues that don't really involve his well being, including wanting to earn the loyalty of people like Syzoth, an active goal.
That voice effect of his is awesome! Multiple souls attempting to take control of one body: resulting to ghastly screeches within.
They definitely took their time with Ermac 🔥💯

He mostly stays loyal to the outworld throne whether with shao or kotal kahn or rarely like in deception where he decided not to follow anyone but be a force for good and follow what he believes is best for himself. we would’ve seen hero ermac / anti hero ermac if he was in mk11 since kotal kahn was a good guy in that game and he was loyal to him
Ermac was never evil he wasn't good or evil he was just a puppet really. Souls controlled by quan chi and Shang but without their magic ermac is no more I think the souls are free once the magic is gone.

I absolutely love that Ermac's voice also includes multiple souls, a really unique feeling for this timelines version of him, hopefully he will get more outfits like Quan Chi got this season

It was 8 Years since we saw the Master of Souls Playable and 4 Years since we saw him with a Amazing Redesign Wasted, Now Not Only is Him Back and Better Than Ever, the Voice Actor would played MK9 Noob and MKX Ermac, Jamieson Price is Back as the Red Ninja with Black Mummified Robes but I Love how much MK1 Respected the Lore of the Character, while Shao didn’t create Ermac, remaking the Character by Quan Chi’s Magic using the Living Forest is Brilliant and making him a Neutral Force and a Glitch in the Universe is a Genius Direction for the Character finding a New Purpose in Life that Surprisingly Liu Kang and Geras are Ok with his Creation, plus I’m surprised while Vaeterians and Zatterians aren’t within Ermac, The Ancestors of Scorpion and Sub-Zero are, meaning that the Brothers are either Outworlders or Edenians.
