      It's very possible that you would be a good candidate for LASIK. An evaluation would be a good first step.

    Dear ma'am, if the posterior capsule is absent, can the IOL be placed in the sulcus ? Because I have heard it is possible in FEMTO LASER CATARACT SURGERY . Please let me know, thanks

    • @ClearChoiceLaser
      @ClearChoiceLaser  Před 5 měsíci

      It depends on the anterior capsular support, which is independent of femtosecond laser cataract surgery.

    Dear ma'am, if anterior capsular rim is ruptured, can it repair itself in 5 - 6 months and hence facilitate IOL implant in the sulcus ?

    • @ClearChoiceLaser
      @ClearChoiceLaser  Před 4 měsíci

      It may or may not be possible depending on how the rupture was treated at the time of occurrence.

    Cataracrt surgery is a very profitable business. If there were a safe , effective, econonical way to get rid of cataracts WITHOUT SURGERY would eye surgeons offer that for us?

      Thank you for this excellent observation and question. Unfortunately, I think it would be difficult to answer for all surgeons.

      @ClearChoiceLaser  Před rokem

      EVO ICL surgery costs around $8000 for both eyes. Payment plans are available. Our most popular is 24 months with 0% interest.

      I have Medicare. I chose the advanced lens instead of the basic. By doing this I would no longer need to wear glasses at 79. Costs me $2200 for each eye. Unfortunately It has been 30 days after the left eye was done and things are not what they should be. A little blurry. They cancelled my right eye surgery which was for today. I have to see another doctor a week from now to see what options I have. Removal of the lens was not recommended by the doctor I saw last. But a possibility? What if the left one ends up the same way as the right eye?

      We are so sorry to hear this. We have not had that occur during any of our cases.
