I would of been great if they had kept future records of inmates to see how they progressed beyond the solitary act when their time was served. Apparently they just went on their ways.

if they disband and discontinued solitary confinement, why is it still here today?

They should refurbish this place, take teenagers who are beginning their lives down a bad road, robberies, gangs, drugs, etc lock em up in this joint for about a month and see if they dont come out with an attitude adjustment . Talk about " SCARED STRAIGHT" . 😳 Of course, parents would have to sign a waiver . Open up as a tourist attraction for the revenue for upkeep and maintenance. I could survive solitary. Im rarely around other humans anyway, most get on my nerves after about 30 mins. I had rather hang out with my dogs, cats and birds.
