I love the way alot of Atlanta's high rises look like castles and have spires leading up to a point. Kinda reminds me of Narnia when you come into the city from spaghetti junction .

@Atlanta Drone Imagery It already is. Gwinnett County, a suburban county is set to overtake Fulton county within the next 20 years in population. Fulton has about 1.1 million while Gwinnett has about 950,000. The metro population of Atlanta over the last 40 years has tripled from 2,000,000 to more than 6 million today. The city has about 500,000 people. Although it is growing, it is not growing as quick as the suburbs. Other areas like Cherokee County, Cobb County, Forsyth County, Hall County, and Henry County are all seeing rapid growth, with Cumming in Forsyth county being one of the safest cities in Georgia. Unfortunately this growth has led to increase in smog and more traffic jams. Atlanta and the surrounding area has a bright future.
@Atlanta Drone Imagery Unfortunately something like that. Rite now The area is affordable, but with more ppl moving here prices are expected to increase.

Atlanta is a beautiful city. We were just there last week for the RV show. The new stadium is awesome. Saw on the news they are not letting anyone fly any drones there right now because of the super bowl. You got some good footage.

I live an hour away and I visit every so often but every time I do I fall in love, I never knew how beautiful it was until recently when my friends and I would go on midnight adventures driving through downtown Atlanta

Anytime i see downtown & midtown Atlanta in video or pictures like this i instantly think of either Ciara Oh, High Price, Lip Scrappy Money In The Bank or TI What You Know. Lol
It still mind boggles me that a city with a little more than 400,000 people has as many tall and truly stunning skyscrapers as Atlanta does. Greetings from Chicago.
That's because everyone lives in the suburbs. But there has been a lot of gentrification going on within the city and there has been a lot of high rise condos being built throughout mid town. So that may effect the pop. within the city, going forward.
The city population of metro areas doesn't really mean anything anymore. It's the MSA and CSA populations that count. The Atlanta MSA ( metropolitan statistical area) population is 6.02 million and the CSA ( consolidated statistical area) population is 6.6 million. Also the city of Atlanta is predicated to surpass 1 million people and the metro area is expected to add and additional 3 million people over the next 20 years. The metro area population is the key. 😉
BTW...there are some impressive projects that include more towers coming down the line, with a couple of supertall's. Here's hoping that they come to fruition.

Tom it's a fantastic work. By the way your older videos with Phantom 4 pro look a lot better, than those recent you shot with mavic air 2.. However I guess it's time for you to get DJI Inspire 2.. considering the creativity and experience you have with drones.

Love Atlanta. This is the best drone video I've seen yet. I love that you incorporated some of Buckhead and even Sandy Springs in a few shots. A lot of time they're left out.

NAW!!.. It's still country as fuck, notice the camera keep going back to the same 2 corners of the city.. Atlanta downtown isn't wide, it's just a line in one line from the airport highway to the Boondocks North of Atlanta, everything outside of it is pretty much bluh..

It's amazing how delusional some of you are about Atlanta. For anyone who thinks that Atlanta is, "starting to look like Chicago's little brother." I suggest that you start by looking at some of the videos here on CZcams. See Chicago from the street level. Behold the towers, see large amounts of people walking around, on a regular day, hear the honking, etc. Go right ahead. Type in Chicago walking tour, Chicago vlog, etc. Then, do the same for Atlanta.
