Love you two together, and Welcome, Grant, to ARMY. Once you start to clue in on the lyrics and what they mean I think you'll be even more impressed. There is so much depth, and such layering to their message, but that's really NOT a new thing. When they started their ages ranged from 15 to 20, and they were the same THEN. They started with a mission statement for healing, and with the determination to a) be themselves in their music and b) place fans at the centre of everything they do, and they have been absolutely consistent and transparent ever since then. Unwavering. NOT perfect, but normal struggling adolescents and young men openly and honestly sharing with their fans. They put too much of their lives and feelings in front of our eyes for it to be anything but real, and we love them for it.
The music is diverse, sometimes challenging, sometimes dark, but I've never heard a song that left anything but support for the listener. People sometimes ask what genre BTS are, and ARMY say BTS is the genre.
I hope you get a chance not only to listen to the music but also to learn about BTS' history and struggles, as well as (unmissable) live performances which will blow your socks off, if not all of your mind!
So - suggestions - ... BTS from nobodies to legends 2019, BTS' struggles, MAMA award 2018, or 2019. My preference is 2019, which astonished even the other idols who all were watching it - "Wow, it's like a concert!", "It's like a whole concert!", "OMG!" etc, In 2019 other artists refused to perform - supposedly in order to undermine the show and BTS, leaving MAMAs (they thought) with a big empty stage and nothing to show, but BTS just said - 'OK we'll do the whole thing'. The other agencies really shot themselves - and their artists - in the foot! The 2018 show is also epic - but of course there were other acts, so BTS section was a smaller scale but it was still much applauded for its use of Korean culture and tradition, which for me makes it really worth watching. There, too, you see other idols agape at what they are getting.
One thing you will learn about BTS is : they don't moan, they don't blame others; if someone tries to insult them or hurt them, they just listen. And then they show them. They live their message.

Oh my lord 😂 that was AWESOME!, BOTH sweaters look fire! I agree, time is so precious, While I was in culinary school, studying and practice was my life, I was always in the kitchen and making tweaks to recipe's and when I finally became a chef, I was so proud, I was 22 and felt on top of the world, I moved from san Jose to Nashville and not long after I became sick (genetics) and was no longer able to work in a kitchen, I was thrown into a wheelchair temporarily and I've been doing physical therapy 4 times a week to regain the ability to walk but because of everything that happened, I had to reevaluate my career options, culinary arts has always been my passion and I've wanted to open my own bed and breakfast at some point and being told that due to the medical issues I have, I would never be able to work in a commercial kitchen again crushed me, but now, thanks to BTS, and some other people, I know that I can't just give up, I need to just find a new way to make it happen, I don't necessarily NEED to be in the kitchen, I have the ability and knowledge to work other positions within the culinary field, which Is also why I'm working on getting my real estate license, anyways, I'm rambling haha I just really enjoy watching you guys and learning more and seeing the happiness on your faces while you react to BTS, I'm looking forward to more videos. Sorry for the long comments. 💜
