I know DnD is based on the luck of the roll of the dice, but if the vibe is anything to go by, she's SO gonna get him killed...
Either that happens or he betrays her trust and consequently gets someone killed

Or she betrays six of her crew's trust, killing them, then gets confronted by him for it, and throws away the rest of the crew's lives to save her own ass. If we're basing it off the musical source material.
@@disableddragonborn I think she'd need a few more Party members for that... And he would have to mess up twice first by agreeing to hear out a witch and opening a magical bag against her orders that they were told SPECIFICALLY not to open by a God. Personally.
@@RenatoGPadilla Aeolus knew damn well that bag wasn't staying closed. She's as much of a prankster as Hermes. Human curiosity is a force damn near impossible to resist. The gods know this. Just look at Pandora.

I love how the knight puts up this front of an optimistic ray of sunshine but behind the mask she’s just as tired as everyone else; knowing that the only way to get through this is if she puts away her own weariness and grief and lead the band from the frontlines; that because they all rely on each other, the moment they start fighting each other is the moment that everyone’s chance of survival plummets.
beautiful. you can feel the chemistry in this group. I know nothing yet I feel like I've seen their lives flash before me.
Why do dnd oc animatics go hand in hand with EPIC songs so well
Honestly, after everything is done, Jay needs to release a D&D book with stats so people can do an Epic campaign.
1. Now I see what people meant when they were saying D&D players especially would love "Luck Runs Out" (I didn't fully know why specifically D&D players)
2. I'm now invested in this.
Okay but not only is the animation good, the expressions, the flashes to other scenarios, the party definitely has chemistry! This was great! Also I really like their designs and now I feel invested in their story lol

Most messed up part of the story is that they were actually on track to return home within the year, but opening the bag of storms and blowing them back to the land of the giants not only set them back months in sea travel, but literally doomed them by delivering them straight to where Poseidon was at the time

@@SomethingNew132 And to add insult to that injury - the only reason they didn't manage to make it home is because someone DIDN'T comply with this that thought people would die on that wit. FFS Eurylochus. The reprise of it in Mutiny made me unreasonably mad lol
@@mewacyboiNot even a year, they were 1-2 DAYS away. They could see the island when that bag was opened. They were so close, in fact, that in some versions of the story, Odysseus's mother can see his boat get blown away by the massive storm and she commits suicide afterward, thinking he must have died.
@@Bakuplayer13 The wind bag wouldn't even be necessary had he not doxed himself to Polyphemus. You can't criticize Eurylochus's mistake without criticizing Odysseus's own stupidity as well.
Honestly if this was a pitch for a videogame,show, or book or something I would be first to buy it this template for advertising a story

@@disableddragonborn i mean, there's the illiad and the oddysey, so you can just look em up and do it yourself really :v Epic is based on them after all
@@juvef6075 I am in no way experienced enough to do it myself. Plus, there are details in Epic that aren't based on Homer that I would love to use. Eurylochus's sword, for example.

WOW! I do stick figures, I could never do something this good! I love that you didnt just put people in this scene but other creatures instead! I have watched many animatics for this song ( I am Odysseus in a play, and I wanted multiple ideas on how to act, but this is the best one so far! I love they were at the temple instead of in the boat! The face expressions were remarkable as well! Let me know if you make any more animatics for epic! I still cant believe how good this is!🤩🥰🥰😇

I'm assuming that the scenarios shown were future events. If I am right, their luck really did run out.
Alternatively, perhaps they have a healer. Maybe this party is just _really_ bad at staying alive. 😅
I took it as past events. You could see one where the knight-presumably a Paladin- was healing one of the downed party members, possibly even casting revivify. This reads more as 'we've come close to death so many times, we can only push ourselves so far.'
Damn, and now I am invested. I really love the design of the person with a bow in their hair! (Others look good too btw)

So….. how did it turn out?
I have an idea cooking up in my head for a trailer for Act 2 of my campaign I’m running, and I’m getting some key frames done for a storyboard, I’m definitely interested in possibly commissioning you for an animatic of that kind of thing, should only be about 40 seconds rather than this full three minutes, but I understand if that’s not something you’re interested in doing!
