    I used stitch markers to keep count of stitches without having to do much work
    I'm also adjusting it a bit, gonna make another one only longer too
    I'm also using one skein of the hobbii mega roll yarn

      Hi, if you change the hook size make sure to check your gauge - if it doesn't meet the gauge in the pattern I'd recommend using the pattern as a guide but create a sweater to fit your measurements as using the exact stitch counts might make the sweater too large.

      Hi June, you might be able to get away with it but I'd recommend swatching to see if you can meet the gauge. If so, follow the pattern as per normal Grace :)

      same as the front; a v neck as well. so it's reversible

      also, if you don't want the back to be a v neck as well you can sew it (the back two panels) all the way together and when attaching the tops of front and back panels just skip the V part on the front. works just as well!

    Love the design of this sweater but I only have size 6 yarn, what would happen if I made it with a size 6 yarn??

      Hi, If you use a different weight yarn you'll have to change your hook size and that will change the gauge. So your sweater will probably be a lot bigger!

      Hello! The measurements are for the finished sweater. So if you'd like a more fitted sweater pick the XL or for a looser sweater 2XL :)

      Hi, Lion Brand Touch of Mohair is an acrylic mohair blend and its a DK yarn so its not the same weight as a single strand of mohair! I recommend substituting it with another DK weight yarn but if you want to use a single strand of mohair, I'd recommend holding it with a weight yarn and always swatch to make sure you can meet gauge :)

    I know you said crochet 90 chain stitches to start. Should the panels appear pretty long at first??? I feel that my panels look very long. Beautiful pattern!

      Hi Claudia, I'm so glad you find the tutorials helpful :) The back of the sweater is also a v shape but you can make the V low or high depending on the fit you want. A lower v will make the sweater more off the shoulder while the higher v will make the sweater sit higher on your shoulders. Grace :)

      Hi, I would personally classify this yarn as a true DK/8ply weight yarn. I always suggest creating a swatch and checking gauge before you start your sweater!

    I spent weeks making this jumper in the XS size you made in the video and I can say it is NOT a size XS!! Its even too big for my partner who is over 6 foot. Its a beautiful jumper but the sizing is all wrong and it was quite disappointing after all that work.

      It sounds like you haven't meet gauge - always make sure to crochet a swatch and check your gauge before starting your sweater. Also all the measurements listed in the blog post for sizing.
