The switch that you removed from the back side of the throttle body is preventing it from "clicking" into place

It won't reset if the limp-mode solenoid is not installed - the small black box with the two-terminal connector on the back. When you rotate the gear toward the back of the TB, it integrates with the solenoid and make the "click" sound.
I have been having Limp Home Mode and still been able to drive right over 70 km/h (43.5 miles /h). How is that possible. What is the speed limit for Limp Home Mode?
To be honest I'm not sure.

Good video, I had the turbo replaced at a non Saab workshop and I suspect they haven´t even performed the reset. I will do it myself and then send them your video so they learn :-)
@@pedrofox2609 I drove in limp mode for the last week (being on holiday) and yesterday it did 110km/h uphill. I had it in sport mode though (autobox) to avoid the gas pedal going heavy on the throttle cable.

Good to hear that limp mode doesn´t mean a totally handicapped car. I also recently drove 300 km with the PCV valve disconnected (My temporary fix with extra hoses and clamps became loose by some pressure). I lost maximum turbo pressure but the ECU adapted and RPM:s were kept low. After I fixed it again it was idling very roughly below 700 RPM. After a while the ECU adapted and RPM never goes below 800 RPM now at red lights.

A lot of the rambling in this video was due to the frustration with not being able to see very well on other videos that show how to reset it while installed on the car, so I took advantage of having the extra one, and I know I should have edited.
