  • There are some changes to the Rogue Sport for 2020. This refresh just isn't on the outside but also on the inside as well. Under the hood is a 2.0L inline-4 that is producing 141HP and is mated to a CVT. It's exterior features a refreshed front end along with updated wheels and a this new color called Nitro Lime. On the inside you will find not only changes to the interior but also the safety tech as well. Is the updated 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport the BEST small SUV value?

I just bought a 2020 Rogue Sport and I have 2 major complaints that buyers should be aware of: It is grossly under powered and I have trouble accelerating when I suddenly need to, and second, it does't have a dial pad on the touchscreen which I often need when in the middle of a phone call. If you are asked to select 1 for customer service, or 2 for the plumbing dept. etc, you can''t do it on your touchscreen because there is no dial pad. The dialpad is present on my 2018 Hyundai Kona but not on my 2020 Rogue Sport.

Mr. Raiti, I've been watching a bunch of your videos, being bored with TV but also being a car guy in teh market for such a vehicle. I enjoy the consistency of your approach which helps in comparing models. I will say this Nissan seemed much quieter than most in its class. Our family had a 2014 Rogue Select and it was a very solid and comfortable vehicle compared to other in the class. Now Nissan, how 'bout a 250HP turbo 2liter to put some real sport in it! Here it seems "sport" means "short". Regardless, this vehicle would make a nice work-a-day commuter up in the Snow belt areas of North America, with the bonus of good utility compared to a 4 door sedan.FYI, S-trim all wheel drive models are about $22,5K out the door With current 3000 Nissan cash back. - Sandy

Driving an SL AWD high trim rental of the Qashqai (Canada). I like how it drives, very smooth, as with your experience. The cargo area is pretty large for its class, and I have no problems with acceleration. The price tag for this trim though is excessive. If they could make one car instead of this and the Kicks, price it somewhere in between, then you have a winner. Also my head touches the roof if I raise the seat to what I prefer. Sunroof takes away from headroom of course too. 6 feet tall.

Since the space between the rear view mirror and the windshield is typically unused space anyways it makes sense to put something there that could help improve overall safety.

15:55 Hopefully this Rogue has a large radiator, because that's a lot of heat building up from that constant high revving lol

No its just how those CVT's sound during hard acceleration. They sound awful. Simulated gears just make matters worse. But with normal driving they are wonderful. Very smooth. And that is how you should drive them. I used to own a 2012 sentra that had this same 2.0 with CVT and it was a very nice compact. Lots of room and buttery smooth. It had pretty good passing power on the interstate and revved up nicely. But around town it sounded like ass if you pushed it from the line. Terrible actually.

l like this vehicle in SL AWD trim but the 141hp will do nothing for me. No sport mode? No manual shifting? RPM will rev way to high for my tastes
